Okay, so I have been working on a mesh for the past few days, and I finally got it how I want it, but...
Part of the mesh is messed up. Near the bottom of the ears, it is darker than it should be, making it partially transparent ingame and bodyshop.
I'm not sure what I did wrong.

And when you look at it from above, the left ear is completely black.


So, where did I mess up?

I was looking through Pam Finchy's photos on Flickr, and I came across this.
I am almost positive that is a sim, but I can't tell for sure, but since most of her pictures are of sims.
So if that IS a sim, where can I find that lovely hair? If not, does anyone know where I can find hair like that?

I am looking for a mod that allows wall speakers to function like radios, as in, they have a pie menu that you can select to dance or change station/etc.
I'd really like them for clubs and such.
Is there even such a thing?

I have been playing a lot of Urbz: Sims in the city lately, and I wanted to make one of the districts in sims 2.
They have this cool tower speaker/radio/stereo thing, and I have been looking for something like it to no avail.

She called EA, and they told her it was probably her graphic card. She did a test, and the graphic card IS faulty and will not support sims. This is probably the problem, but my computer's graphic card doesn't work well with sims either, and I don't have this problem.
Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Okay, so my friend just installed double deluxe.
Her first problem was that she could not create new neighborhoods. Now when she tries to create new lots, it gives her a blank menu so she can't.
This is what happens when she tries to create a neighborhood:


Her computer has plenty of memory, and she has no CC.

Any ideas on what the problem is, and how to fix it?

Her only EP is DD.

She has tried reinstalling the game twice now.
The game has also been tested on another computer, and worked.

I have made the first six books, seeing as those are the only ones published as of right now.

They are normal books cloned from Maxis books so they are base game, they are found under Hobbies > Knowledge, and are $15.



Do not let your sims put these books away, for they will disappear forever, dooming you to buy new copies.
These are also sellable in OfB shops.

I made a desk out of island pieces, and I want to place a computer on said desk.
If I use moveobjects, the computer is not usable. So is there a hack/mod that allows you to place computers on islands?

Today I bring you four lovable chimations for your sims!

A chimation is a hybrid between a male chihuahua and a female dalmatian. They most generally look like miniature dalmatians, but can also look like white or spotted chihuahuas, and they are usually medium dogs. Since you cannot have medium dogs in sims, I have made them small dogs. I made them in four styles: Two with cropped ears and two with lopped ears.

Hello, all.
I have been trying to film a video in sims 2, and I normally film in 'Medium' quality. Well, starting more recently, when I try setting my video in low, medium, or high, it pops up with a message that says "Cannot compress video because of missing codec, video quality has been set to uncompressed. View the readme.txt file to see how to install specific codec. Warning: Filming in uncompressed can cause slow gameplay, and is intended for high performance machines." or something like that.
Where would I locate said readme file, and what, exactly is this missing codec?
How do I fix this?
