There may have been a thread like this, but digging into the whole InSim is not really what I'd do now. So, if anybody could link me to some clothes/ objects/ houses , even neighborhoods, I'd be very grateful. 

Try running it windowed. I had the same problem until I did it. Ever since, I play it windowed. Right click the shortcut, select Properties and at the end of the Target line, add a " -w" without the quotes, of course. Good luck.

You may want to use "Modify" and not double post. However, I did make some requests on the TS2 requests and ain't got any answers yet. People are busy, babymoon. They have a life outside The Sims, you know... just be patient and wait until winter, when people might get vacation days. That's what I'll do anyways.

(Sorry for interfering kinda off topic) Are there special event cinematic(s?) for TS3 as well? As far as I looked, there aren't. But I'm very lazy and dumb these days, so I may have not observed the option for it.
