I recently reinstalled my game and added apartment life and updated all my mods/hacks to make sure they were compatible.  The Dorm cook on any lot is one of my must haves as I have a soup kitchen at a church and a neighborhood dorm.  The mod worked fine before my reinstall and addition of Apartment Life.  Now the dorm cook does not spawn.  I don't have a University in my current game so I don't know if the problem exist there also.  I have all Expansion and Stuff Packs thru Apartment Life.


***UPDATE***After several hours of looking for suspect mod/hack as we knew it would be, I found the the culprit.  My dorm cook is back and now my Sims can continue to get a free meal at church. There was another mod made by SW that the hack detector did not flag as a conflict, but since they both were modifying the same area they cancelled each other out.***

Thanks so much for this cake.  I downloaded it months ago and I didn't give you a proper thank you.  It was a big hit at one of my sims parties.  The sims loved it!  They opted for the cake instead of the availabe buffet.

Forgive me if I am out of line for posting here...Does Ancient Highway have a new website?  For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to get his update for Monique's Child Support and I get an error message that tells me it cannot connect to the data base.  At first I thought it was my computer, but I get the same error no matter where I try to connect.  I may have posted this question elsewhere on the site but I can't find it so forgive if I've double-posted.  Any assistance is appreciated. I have been trying for a week to gain access to Ancient Highway's Website   to get updated Child Support Mod for Apartment Life(I get error message: "Connection problem Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.")

I have the old version that was compatible with free-time and it also worked with Mansion & Gardens w/o Apartment Life.  I was wondering if it worked with Mansion & Gardens will it also function with Apartment Life or what files do I need to change to update it for my game.  Thanks for any help and assistance.

I have a sim who wants to retire..this is the first time I've had a sim with this want. She has 10 unused vacation days. I am looking for a hack/mod (not sure of terminology) that will allow her to get paid for her vacation days. I had her retire to see what would happen and she wasn't paid for those days.  I didn't save the game since she has many days left before becoming an elder.  I appreciate any assistance, thank you in advance.

There is an option available when you click on sim to ask them to stay the night.  You can use this option as many times as you like.  If the sims are really close friends they will stay for days if you don't ask them to leave as long as you feed and entertain them without asking them to stay the night. 

Problem solved! I had the same issue on another lot so I entered the lot using boolprop testingheatsenabled true.  Apparently custom content items I've had in game over a year are no longer usuable in my hood (a ceiling light and a yard nativity scene).  While still under boolprop I sent sim to the secret lot (the ceiling light was the problem on the SS lot and the nativity scene at the Uni Chapel).  I deleted both items from the lots.  When I viewed the log file the error listed for the ceiling light stack number out of range and the error for the yard nativity scene was missing effects. I'm not sure what any of this means but I am relieved that the problem is now solved. Now I can get some much needed sleep.

Yes, I added a SS Lot (there would be no reason to send a sim there if it didn't exist) and as I stated I sent a sim who was already a member to the lot and it still would not load.  I've been playing the lot along with the customer university for over 2 months without a problem.  I had the same problem on another lot at the university last night.  I was not able to enter the lot from neighborhood nor was my sim able to go to the lot-same problem stuck on loading.  This issue does not exit in my main hood or the subhoods attached.  At this point I am convinced there is a problem with the Uni hood after this graduating class I will not be using it anymore.

I have a custom  university that I have been playing for about 2 months. Recently the limo arrived for a sim to take him to the SS Lot.  The lot never loaded it was stuck.  I restarted the game, my sim returned in the limo but he was not a SS member. Also my sim was unlinked with his father (this I fixed in Simpe).  I tried it again, the same thing happened.  I also tried to send another sim already an SS member to the lot and still the lot would not load.  I also tried to send a sim in another household.  I also had the same thing occur with another lot-is this a sign of corruption?
