I'd like to know if there is a way to make Squinges Mods "Teen To Young Adult No College" and "No Adult to Elder AL" compatible with each other. I would really like to be able to play with both of these mods without having to choose between the two. Thanks

I was wondering if I should be concerned about the conflict found by Sims 2 HCDU between
Squinges NoAgeYA (part of Mega College Pack) and MATY No_Adult_To Elder (allows Adults aging to elder to keep their adult posture).

I've had both in-game for a long time. I finally got the HCDU to work properly (I've got windows 7) and the scan reported the conflict.  Thanks.

I was told that you shouldn't use lots built in your main hood in Uni subhoods or vice versa because it can cause a problem with aging controllers.  I was looking for more information or at least to be pointed to a thread where I could find the info.  I never thought this could be an issue as I have done so and been playing this way for a long time without any issues. Thanks in advance for your help.


UPDATE:  I continued to look for answers and I came across some information at MATY http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,12165.0.html  (Lord Darcy post).  I guess I've never had a problem because I had did what was necessary to prep the lot without knowing I was doing it.  So once again I've answered my own question...lol...thanks me.

Last night while playing my game my sim Natasha and her cat Princess could no longer go down the stairs. Natasha had returned home from a day of shopping went upstairs to take a shower and when she tried to go downstairs to watch TV she would proceed to the stairs and turn around. Her cat princess also had trouble going down the stairs. She too would walk to the stairs and turn around. I manually placed Natasha on the first floor of her apartment and directed her to walk up the stairs. She was able to walk up the stairs but she could go back down. There was activity outside of the apartment in the common area where children's playground is located. Neighbor Danielle had about 7 piles of leave-she would rake the leaves in piles and then proceed to play in them.

I existed the lot and returned and had the same problem. I existed again and returned in debug mode and the error message stated something about problem with Apartment Controller I hit reset and entered the apartment. Still the same problem neither Natasha or Princess could go downstairs. I exited the lot and went to Danielle's apartment since Danielle was taking a bath I had her husband Maurice knock on Natasha's door. Maurice was able to enter the apartment and Natasha appeared but the apartment was empty (no furniture showing) as if no one lived there. Also there were no error messages in Danielle and Maurice's apartment. I exited and returned to Natasha apartment (still in debug mode) and the same error message about Apartment Controller, this I hit delete, when I entered the apartment sims still could not go downstairs on their own and another message stating that they must move in first to be able to access the lot. I packed up Natasha's belongings and move her out. Natasha and Princess are now in the family bin until I decide whether or not to move them back in.

Please forgive the long post-I just wanted to make sure I gave a clear picture of what occurred. I looked for information online regarding Apartment Life apartment controller errors and I didn't find any or look in the correct place. Any ideas, suggestion, thoughts are welcome. Also if I have inadvertently posted in the wrong section please direct me to the right place.

I recently reinstalled my game and added apartment life and updated all my mods/hacks to make sure they were compatible.  The Dorm cook on any lot is one of my must haves as I have a soup kitchen at a church and a neighborhood dorm.  The mod worked fine before my reinstall and addition of Apartment Life.  Now the dorm cook does not spawn.  I don't have a University in my current game so I don't know if the problem exist there also.  I have all Expansion and Stuff Packs thru Apartment Life.


***UPDATE***After several hours of looking for suspect mod/hack as we knew it would be, I found the the culprit.  My dorm cook is back and now my Sims can continue to get a free meal at church. There was another mod made by SW that the hack detector did not flag as a conflict, but since they both were modifying the same area they cancelled each other out.***

I have been trying for a week to gain access to Ancient Highway's Website   to get updated Child Support Mod for Apartment Life(I get error message: "Connection problem Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.")

I have the old version that was compatible with free-time and it also worked with Mansion & Gardens w/o Apartment Life.  I was wondering if it worked with Mansion & Gardens will it also function with Apartment Life or what files do I need to change to update it for my game.  Thanks for any help and assistance.

I have a sim who wants to retire..this is the first time I've had a sim with this want. She has 10 unused vacation days. I am looking for a hack/mod (not sure of terminology) that will allow her to get paid for her vacation days. I had her retire to see what would happen and she wasn't paid for those days.  I didn't save the game since she has many days left before becoming an elder.  I appreciate any assistance, thank you in advance.

I have a custom  university that I have been playing for about 2 months. Recently the limo arrived for a sim to take him to the SS Lot.  The lot never loaded it was stuck.  I restarted the game, my sim returned in the limo but he was not a SS member. Also my sim was unlinked with his father (this I fixed in Simpe).  I tried it again, the same thing happened.  I also tried to send another sim already an SS member to the lot and still the lot would not load.  I also tried to send a sim in another household.  I also had the same thing occur with another lot-is this a sign of corruption?

I have several Slim BB sims in my game that will be aging soon.  I have not been successful in locating all clothing categories for Slim BB Elders. Specifically Pj's, swimwear, undies and gym. Please help..I'd hate for my men to experience age shrinkage.
