Hey, does anyone know where I can find some decortive shoe meshes? You know, just deco/sculptures? Not a body mesh? I have the one's by feeseen over at MTS, and I have Al's, but I'm looking for some mens shoes too. All that I could get would be extremely helpful.

I'm a creator for the TS2, and back when I finally decided to share some of my creations, my computer decided I didn't need the sims 2 anymore. Or anything for that matter.
Anyways,...I finally got everything working again, but I lost everything.

I decided to just start back from the bottom. I made, and am making more recolors of Oepu's skintone.

Oepu doesn't seem to care, but I just used JW's for a base, since they already had the feet on them. To make them compatible all I would have to do is slap some toenails on which JW did.



I was wondering if it would be appropriate to share these?
I made a Darker Default, as well as some in between tones. I also geneticized and townified them. I'm up to 10ish so far, in cool and in-between tones.

And JW hasn't logged in since 2009.

No... I wasn't looking for replacements. I was looking for custom hair that I could use in place of maxis, and create defaults out of.

What's the matter with the shoes? Do you mean that they are too small or misproportioned in the meshing program? Or do you mean they don't look right in Bodyshop/Ingame ?

Edit: Can you show me a picture of what you are doing? Perhaps I can help. I've done alot of what you are talking about.

I just reinstalled the base game so I could mesh.
The first thing I always install are default replacements, so my sims will look decent.

The next thing I do is go in game, and change everybody's hairstyle.
Like, Angela, and Lillith's. I always, change their barrette hair to a better version either by XM sims or rosesims2. I change, Jenny Smith's hair to a different ponytale.

But I thought: Why do I need all of this extra cc clogging up by bins. I NEVER use most of the maxis hairs!
Why don't I just create some default replacements!

So now I want some suggestions, for better hair to replace the ones that came with the game and ep's. Just through some at me... Give me multiple one's and I'll decide. Just, I would want to replace a ponytail, with a ponytail, or something at least similar, a braid. Just better looking, is all. Like what do you use?

You can't just uninstall the Sims Double Deluxe. You have to uninstall, the Expansions.. IE Seasons. I usually uninstall them latest to first. 

I would try installing them to a different location.

Do you mean that you are trying to make a new mesh?

Or you are retexturing?
