Sooo... enlarging my hair collection I was browsing MTS and came across a very cute hairstyle by Helga retextured. The mesh, however, wasn't included so I set off looking for it, but found nothing. I checked out VitaSims, The Graveyard, Googled a picture of the mesh, but failed to find a valid download link. =( Can anyone please help me find it? I'll be very grateful!

I used to have a set of custom musical instruments in my game once. Among them was an acoustic guitar, I liked the way it looked very much but unfortunately one my Sim picked it up and started playing, I was disappointed by the fact it had a Maxis electroguitar sound, so I'm searching for a custom guitar which has an appropriate custom sound.

I'd like to specify now: I'm not looking for any particular object, that's why there are no pictures in this thread. I'm not even sure if the thing I ask for exists so here goes a small addition: maybe someone could point me to a tutorial of changing the sound adjusted to an instrument so I could try fixing it myself?

I like the mesh, but I'm not a great fan of unnatural and acid-like hair colours so I'd love this one to be recoloured. 4 basic colours and elder grey would be just perfect. Ah, and also, can the ribbon at the back of the hairdo be shortened to be about the shoulder level? (hope this sounds clear enough, hehe!) If it can't, it would still be okay, though.

PS. The original author says the mesh is free to be recoloured as long as being posted on free sites and a credit is given.

In advance want to say sorry if posting to an incorrect forum.

So, here goes the issue.

Recently I had to deinstall my Sims as the antivirus software defined a main EXE file of the game as a malware. So now I decided to go a little bit nostalgic and installed The Sims Life Stories (as well as Pet Stories and Castaway Stories.) As I see now, a default replacement kind of CC works just fine for the game, I already have def. rep. skinset and eyes, they really make my Sims look better ^_^

But with clothes and hairs it's a lot more complicated. They do not show up while I try to change appearance of the Sim using a mirror or try to buy some new clothes in a shop. However, after placing the files into a Downloads folder, I saw some townies having a custom hair or outfit.

Is it a glitch or maybe I was doing something wrong?
Is Life Stories compatible with regular (non-default) CC?

Please, someone who has a similar experience, gimme a consultation )

I'm Alba and I'd like to post a Sim request thread here. I have The Sims 2 and own all the Expansions and Stuff packs up to Mansion&Garden.

The person I want to be simmed is a Spanish singer David Bisbal. He has quite an interesting appearance and I'd like to have him in my game, but, being honest, I just s*ck at making good-looking male pixel dollies, without even dreaming at ones barely alike someone real.

On his left hand David has a mole. I suppose there would probably be a custom skintone for this sim, so I'd like it to have this little detail on it, if it's possible.

Note: I know that it's difficult to find a decent curly hair mesh for males so, having browsed one of the Sims-dedicated sites, I found 2 hairstyles that might be appropriate for this guy to wear =)
