no havnt tried the npc replacer. iv seen that.. but never tried to figure it out, and also didnt want to replace the npc's outright. I just like the idea of making anyone the maid and having it be one of your player sims better.
and what part are you getting a path not found error? I tried getting both the maid controller and the npc changer from paladin's site and i get the files fine. no errors. unless his IP was temporarily down.. as of this msg its workin.

Hey Warlokk, i know this has been talked about a while ago, for once you got the alpha meshes worked out, this was something in the "to-do" pile, but maybe this might give a little motivation to get custom sized maid outfits made, well.. maybe. Paladin just released one of the coolest mods i think Sims2 has yet... Playable Maid ControllerYa know how you dont want to make any "default replacers" for anything, including NPC's.. well this just solved our problem. Paladin makes some of the neatest and ingenious mods and this one is right up there. I think many will be pleased. Thanks goes to Paladin So this way, all diff sizes of the maid outfit can be made, and playble sims hired as the maid can wear them, in all the variable size glory. I just saw this and had to share

Retired Creators / BodyShape Requests / LongDress2 and LooseDress mod request
|

Warlokk.. iv been wondering if it were possible to do some slight mods to those meshes, to enable a greater compatability with some other dress outfits. For one.. the little tassle thing hanging off the back of the Loose dress, if that could be removed so that certain outfits dont look like they got a piece of lose skin dangling off their backs. (ex: the releases that DLM did of Liana's skins, the 2 wedding and 1 bridesmaid dresses. the tassle ruins what is otherwise excellent skins),
The 2nd one on the LongDress2, something to the effect where the dress shape (referring to the chest and cleavage part) where the mesh itself has the shape of the upper edge of clothing, if either that could be removed, or the top half of the mesh replaced with something along the lines of the underwear top so that it doesnt have shape of the fabric between, and would show skintone details underneath if nothing was painted on the texture and alpha. For a visual example, take a look at the 2 new formals Bubbleeye put on her site. The blue and purple one currently at the bottom of the curvy formal page. They are for a non Warlokk mesh, but for kicks i tried putting them on the LongDress2, and cept for the mesh part where it shapes the clothing, it would work.
I know that would mean doing alotta revamps on fullbody meshes for the sizes if it were to be done for all, but wondering if that could be something added to the list for later. Id do it myself.. but dont have the progs, nor the graphics experience to do it.

Retired Creators / Female Hi-Res Bodyshape Project / POLL: What's Next for the Bodyshape Series?

i voted primarily for the alpha work.. but.... what also would be good is just a little bit of the additional base/expansion outfits as well for the various sizes. Theres plenty of expansion outfits avail, that if they were "Warlokk Enhanced" then, then recolor artists could have a ball. and not have to tweak with stuff as much as the alpha work it seems, from what i read.
