3  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Improved childhood? on: August 16, 2009, 10:05:37 am
Does anyone know of a hack that will let the children in Sims 3 relate to each other. I’ve got a child and toddler but they never play or speak to each other , and the child to baby relationship is null and void. I mean what house hold doesn’t have kids that scream fight and play. I’d love to know if some one ahs enabled this feature.
4  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / jFade’s 3Viewer on: June 28, 2009, 09:52:26 am
Has anyone used jFade’s 3Viewer, just wondering, I have used his programs before what sims2 and did try this myself but it seems to install a new downloads folder in the EA sims3 where it not only puts an installed file in the original location but in this second downloads folder. Found that a bit strange and disk consuming.
It’s at this location http://forum.jfade.com/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=466

PeggySims has updated the hair and in my game so far it no longer causes crashes. It does replaced a hairstyle from the game though, but I wasn’t to pushed about that one though, just wondering how she is going to keep making hairstyles if she had to replace the ones from the game there aren't that many.

It did look too nice, you can’t get all those curves without a lot of geometry. She doe great hair though looking forward to what comes next. Grin

An update on the peggyhair, it crashes the game Sad real pity since it’s so much nicer than the EA hair. Well early days yet. Anyone else’s launcher been a bit up the left since the update patch. It’ll only install one file at a time now damn you EA.

I do but I’m not sure how it works, I just seem to wave the file over the application and a bit of something happens, bit vague. Strange thing is though the file install hangs when I get to the second stage the files do seem to have installed, I played about with the game to see if the dress was corrupted and would crash the game but it was fine.
I think maybe EA should have waited and concentrated on the load problem that happens with everyone it seems. Did they do any beta testing at all, I love the game it’s lovely to play but seems very bugged.
Oh yea I installed peggy’s hair and I love it and nothing bad has happened so far with it in game. It lacks animation but it’s free!! Grin

12  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Corrupt Saves? on: June 23, 2009, 03:39:22 am
I’d try playing a new game, you know when you start up and can chose a new neighbourhood, just to see if it’s you computer specs or the family file is corrupted.  If it is the family file look in Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves in the location where the Sims 3 is installed, you will find a backup made by the game rename removing the backup extension taking out the file it was backing up and see if that is ok, you might be able to save that family that way. Good luck.

Hi Chaavik, first off thanks for all your mods Grin, second I just can’t get the ceiling option to happen as I did in Sims2. I click on the palate thingie but the ceiling wont light up as the walls, floor and other features do, don’t know if I’m doing it wrong or the option isn’t available.
15  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / texture a ceiling,is it possible? on: June 20, 2009, 07:28:57 am
Hi I’ve been trying to find out is it possible to texture a ceiling as you could in Al in Sims 2, the plain white mat look is pretty boring. Any help greatly appreciated.
