16  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Junior / Recolors of Existing Inteen Meshes For the Boys on: May 26, 2007, 11:01:25 am

Do I need anything else for these to work in my game?

Just Wardrobe Adjustor to allow the boys to change into them while pregnant (these use Jase's existing Inteen meshes).
17  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Junior / Recolors of Existing Inteen Meshes For the Boys on: May 25, 2007, 02:16:55 pm
I was finally able to make some recolors of the existing teen male maternity meshes (the ones included with Inteen) via mesh linking (and age reclassification as well in the case of the everyday -- there isn't an equivalent normal teen mesh for that).

Everyday: Camoflage

Formal: Grey Tux (has some image issues in-game due to Bodyshop/game compression routines)

Pajamas: Surfin' Snoopy

Undies: Crop Circles (texture from Maxis crib/changing table)

Swimwear: African print

As always, third party tools needed for your abducted (or not) boys to wear these during pregnancy (such as InSIM's Wardrobe Adjustor).

And feel free to use these as bases for further recolor projects.

Where did you get that mesh?

Looks like the old standby SimChicMAFullBootcut5-22-05 mesh; one place to get the mesh (different r/c though) is http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=216700
19  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Junior / For the Boys -- Sci-Fi T-shirts (new mesh) on: May 13, 2007, 09:23:25 pm
Originally posted a few days ago on the Inteenimater website, now uploaded here.

As most mpreg in my game is the direct result of alien abduction, I thought that making t-shirts with pictures of sci-fi movie posters would be appropriate attire.  Based on the Maxis teen male t-shirt and shorts mesh, with the paperboy's sneakers (and preg morph added with Extended Manual Edit).

"Close Encounters of the Third Kind":

"Forbidden Planet":

(Both posters remain the property of Columbia Pictures and MGM, respectively.  No copyright infringement intended).

Technical information:

2008 faces/1516 vertices.  Animation works fine; small overlap error on right leg that Align Normals couldn't eliminate (more noticeable in Body Shop than in-game).

Like all .package teen maternity, you will need a third party hack for the boys to wear these while pregnant (I used InSIM's Wardrobe Adjustor for these shots).
20  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Women / Maternity Outwear, anyone? (Requires Seasons) on: April 30, 2007, 02:42:05 pm

I have a question: Is there a mesh that I have to download as well?
I downloaded and don't see the outwears on the picture. It looks as if something is missing...

Yes, it does require a mesh, listed on the first page (it's really easy to miss though, I forgot the mesh when I d/l'd it)  but again:

Another set of defaults using your eyes:
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=217871 (different lblue/dblue/green than the other 'eyes for the eyeless' set)

And I myself have made Pixie Dream into a default replacement for S2 -- I can upload it here if that's okay (I'm also working on a mixed-mode default set of Pixie skins so people don't have to put 30MB files in the downloads folder just to replace ONE skin).
23  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What is the size of your 'Downloads' Folder ? on: April 02, 2007, 03:47:56 pm
1.01 GB atm in my story/contest folder, will probably go down when I finish the new default skinset I'm working on (same skins I'm currently using there, just a different method)
24  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / about half my sims dont have a body skin on: March 29, 2007, 03:18:29 pm
The custom skintone selector just doesn't seem to work for some players with Seasons (as in select a skintone they have and no change) -- and as far as I know SimPE hasn't been updated for Seasons (I suggested that as a non-Seasons option)

I'm not really sure what can be done in this situation as a Seasons player...

Try the Custom Skintone Changer here:

http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=203624 (some users have problems with this in Seasons though)

Or (if no Seasons) you could perhaps try SimSurgery through SimPE to change your sim's skintone genetics.
26  Resident Creators / EP5 Mods / Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit EP5 Updated(3/3/07) on: March 17, 2007, 12:57:18 pm

This is the only mod I have, I am using the updated version, and my pregnant sims wear everyday, walk like they're pregnant, but don't have the belly. I was waiting to see if anyone else had this problem, but no one seems to... I've tried it with several different everyday outfits (including ones that worked with the EP3 version). Do you know what might be causing this?

I'd scan my downloads folder with Clean Installer, as this sounds like a hidden hack -- I just tested this (EP5 updated) with several Maxis and custom meshes that have pregnant morphs (both male and female) and got visible bellies every time.

I do seem to have one problem, though -- for some reason no one in the Greenman household can plan maternity. (The Roth family and the placed O'Mackey family both have that option, so I'm thinking it may have something to do with plantsims -- I'm going to download a plantsim potion and transform Morty or Gabe and see if the "plan maternity" option is still there.)

EDIT: Nothing to do with plantsims, Gabe O'Mackey retained the "Plan Maternity" option even after transformation and subsequent abduction.  However, the O'Mackey household doesn't have enough outerwear to be able to plan that, and the Greenman and McGreggor lots do (Leod also can't plan maternity -- I made him over with a new bodyshape and thus he needed a completely new wardrobe).  So it seems that when sims are able to plan outerwear, the option to plan maternity is overwritten in this version.  (And if this turns out to be an unresolvable problem, leave it this way -- plan maternity only affects attire on community lots, while outerwear can potentially affect attire on any lot).

Yo which one should I download if I have TS2 (core) and Inteen (Im sorry but your directions on which one to download are a little confusing)

You're out of luck here -- there is no Inteen-compatible version of this hack for base game.  Either choose one or the other or get an EP.

Hey Squinge, quick question... I have this mod in my game but there is still an option to "plan maternity" outfit for those sims who are not pregnant and men as well. Is this an error or problem?

No, this is by design -- I have the EP3 version (don't have Seasons yet) and those options are available for me too.  In the first case, it can be considered as pre-planning your outfit before you need it, and in the second -- well, let's just say that pregnancy in The Sims 2 is not just for women...
30  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Men / Urban Zodiac Collection (New Mesh) on: March 09, 2007, 03:34:11 pm
inhereppl recently requested something other than sweatpants for male maternity, so I tinkered around in Milkshape and came up with this shorter jeans and T-shirt mesh:

Textures are primarily Maxis, adapted to fit this shape (mesh and textures in seperate archives). Mesh archive includes a uvmap (not very good though :crybaby:  )

Available for YA/Adult/Elder males, bump-map enabled, all morphs. Categories: Everyday, Maternity
1902 faces, 1349 vertices.  Should not require any EP's.

The "zodiac" part came about when I was flipping through Word fonts trying to come up with some appropriate decoration and found the zodiac symbols under the Wingdings font -- and since Sims places emphasis on zodiac I thought that would make a good T-shirt decoration.

Policy:
1. Do not redistribute to any pay section, or to any section of The Sims Resource or Pandora Sims.
2. Do not make non-adult recolors exclusive to adult sites.

Other than that, recolor and distribute freely without modification (mesh).

As with any other pregnant-morph enabled outfit, you will need Squinge's Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit or any other hack that allows your sims to plan maternity wear for your sims to wear these while pregnant.

Enjoy.
