Typically I give my sims about $100,000.  I don't want them to be more than comfortable (takes all the fun out of playing).  This mod will work great for  me. 

I am not having any problems with the items I downloaded from MTS.  I used the method stated in the above post's.  The only problem I had because I have vista is I cannot unrar directly into the package folder is i have to cut and paste it.  The custom content works beautifully.  The patterns, mods go into that folder.  The skins go into documents/the sims 3/SavedSims, download houses to the desktop and double click they self install.  You may be doing all of this just thought I would reiterate.  Good luck.

I haven't had any problems with the game, however as stated it is limited just like the Sims 2 when it first came out.  I was aware this would be the case and still bought it.  I am using my time to learn the game build and generally hone my skills until additional EP's become available.

There are actually quite a few sliders in the cas.  The sliders however are somewhat limited.  Delphy at MTS has a mod that allows you much more latitude with the sliders.  Hope this is helpful.

Wow!  That is interesting.  I have no idea since I'm not into meshing but, it looks like 2 body types.

I'm not certain but I think what you are talking about is what I call clocking and the blue screen of death.  There can be a few reasons for this. I'm not a guru, probably Ancient Highway would be the one to help you on this.  A couple of things you could try are making sure all of your drivers are updated and make sure you don't have any hacks crashing the game.

Take out your downloads folder first.  Load the game without the folder. If she is then able to communicate with other adults, you probably have a hack that hasn't been updated. Scan your download folder with clean installer.  Try to remove all of the hacks.  Add the downloads folder back. Load the game again and see if it still works.  If it does you need to either make sure you have the updated version of all of your hacks or create a separate folder for hacks (this is what I have because I know I need to pull them out everytime there is an EP or update) and add one hack at a time back to the folder.

I have problems with my DVD drive (my computer is older).  I however am able to manipulte it most of the time by taking the DVD out and putting it back in again.  I however did not have the issue when installing (luckily).

I have made a few additional items to go with my Old World charm bedroom and bath from my previous post.  Included are a recolor of the maxi vase, 2 recolors of the orb on a tray, a recolor of the antique curtains, blinds and the durable sofa. I have also included a white base and blue top recolor of the counter culture cabinets, a white superlative sink and the cheap white toilet.  None of my recolors have dirty states.  I don't like them so I don't put them in the recolors. In a separate rar file I have included recolors of SP Xiomara's maxi match durable loveseat and chair(you will need her meshes from N99 forum). They can be downloaded from the N99 Forum PAK site. I have used CTNutmeggers bed match dazzle curtains , simple mirror (also from N99) and fireplace (from MTS2) in my photos.  They make the bedroom so much more sophisticated in my opinion.  N99 PAK site and MTS2 are both worth a visit for the wonderful free content.  The carpet in the parlor is by MSBarrows at TSR (also bed match and is free).

My computer had crashed a couple of months ago.  With everything gone, I have started to recolor.  This is a bedroom set.  I have also included a shower tub and bath mat I made for the ajoining bath. Most items except the hold me closer dresser and rugs are base game.  I Have all EP's and sutff packs.  My policy is easy.  Do whatever you like with my recolors.
