The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / High End Loft Stuff

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but since installing High End Loft Stuff and upgrading to the latest(?) patch, I can't run the game. I can launch it through the launcher, the intro plays but then crashes back to the desktop. It's really starting to p*ss me off now!

Hi guys,
Sims2 veteran, Sims3 noob. I've got a problem launching the game. When I open the launcher (either off the desktop shortcut or Autoplay off the DVD) it just disappears... The launcher stays on the screen for like 1 second then goes. If I'm quick I can click on the Play button and the games loads and plays OK, but it's just darned annoying. Anyone else had this problem?

Call me stupid, but I can't figure out how to build an apartment complex from scratch. I've got a lot - it's either residential or community. The residential lot only gives me a single mailbox. Community one's don't give on at all. I've used the correct doors, but it's still just one house. I don't want to use the default places, but I just can't seem to make my own. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi guys, wonder if you could help me out with this one. What I want to do is create a multi-level house. I want the front door on "decking" level, but I want the inside of the house to be at "ground" level. I've tried using all decks but when I lower the inside I get a "can't place wall" message. If I use a combination of deck and stage I get a similar message. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi guys, hope this is the right place to be asking, but is there any way to change the category of clothing? I've got an everyday outfit I've downloaded that would make an excellent formal outfit. Is there a way of doing this easily?

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes anyway. I've recently upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium (boo-hiss I want my XP back!) and now it seems that Bodyshop will not load. Is this a common problem or do you know of any suggestions?

After installing Seasons it seems that all my custom content build and buy items have disappeared. I've still got all the CAS stuff (hair, make-up, clothes, etc), though. I have made sure to enable custom content on the loading screen, so it's not that.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so how'd you resolve it?
