I can't Daysies it's in the pie menu part of the computer's but you can edit custom computers with SimPE just click the teen check box under pie menus Smiley

Thanks for the explanation!  It makes sense since it's not part of the original PC setup.
2  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / No More Visitor Walk By Actions New Version Available(5/9/07) on: May 18, 2007, 02:00:43 pm
Yes, they'll still walk by, and sometimes they'll stop in front of your lot and hope that you'll greet them, but they just won't do some of the annoying stuff that this hack stops.

Thanks, Squinge!  I'm testing it right now.  Will report back.  Smiley

I tested it on the Little Sister WD15 and it works great!!!

I have a question... Would it be a lot more work to enable it for all computers, even custom ones (i.e. new object meshes)?  If not, that's perfectly fine!  Now my teens can write novels and earn their keep.  Smiley

Thanks for the no lightning mod. But i must confess i hope it does'nt stop the thunder clash. I rather like the sound of the thunder.

I tried it out today, and it's Springtime for my Simmies.  It rained, but it didn't thunder.  I don't think I played it long enough.  I'm testing with another family.  I love the sound of thunder, too!

I can't wait to try this out!  I've been so busy lately that I haven't been playing much.  Sad  I love it when it rains in my game, but the lightning is very loud and startles me, sometimes.

I've been meaning to post something here... but there is an action where a townie runs by the lot and they stop and stretch for a bit... then they dash off running (or jogging) again.  That is the only "walk by" action that kind of annoys me that isn't stopped with this hack.

Oh you want rain puddles? I thought you said the pet puddles weren't working, lol

In your older hacks, they weren't working in Seasons.  So I have puddles everywhere now.  Smiley

Sorry, I wasn't clear!  I haven't tested this mod.  I was just wondering if you could make a version of this same mod to only get rid of pet puddles.

So... rain puddles - YES, pee puddles - NO.  Cheesy

12  Resident Creators / EP2 Mods / EP2 required:No more burnt food on: April 25, 2007, 04:36:58 pm
this is so weird!  i haven't experienced this in a long while because i did have this mod when it first came out.  anyway, after i started with a clean slate, i put this mod back in March (when i started playing again) and just now, my sim teen went to make pancakes.  then she left the pancakes on the stove because she had to go to school.  when i checked the stove, the pancakes were burning.  black smoke, the works.  i have Seasons installed and i have the country stove that came with it.  for some reason, i though it worked with Seasons... but now i realize, i've never actually left food sitting on the stove.

i have run HCDU (as i do after i install a new mod) and there are no conflicts.

[edit] it might just be a false alarm... since my sim teen had to go to school, she had to stop what she was doing.  the reason why i've never experienced this until now is because i also have your "don't walk away from the stove while cooking" mod.  i guess, for peace of mind, could you look into it again when you have the chance?  thanks!!!

I don't mind the rain puddles because they eventually disappear.  I also have a hack that prevents Sims from jumping in the puddles unless their fun is < 50.  I also have a hack that prevents objects from breaking so now I don't get any puddles made from broken showers, toilets, sinks, etc.  However, I hate can't stand animal pee puddles!  Inside or outside!  *yuck*  I know the penguin leaves a puddle occassionally... so Squinge, do you think you could make a small variant of this mod to only remove the animal pee puddles?  Please?  Cheesy

(I know there are other no puddle hacks, made during Pets, but I've tested them all with Seasons and my Sim dogs still leave puddles outside.)
14  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / No autonomus raking on: April 21, 2007, 05:58:44 pm
This isn't a variant of the no-autonomous raking hack, but it definitely speeds up the time raking.  Just 6 swishes of the rake, and you have a leaf pile.  It's fabulous!

15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / No autonomus raking on: April 19, 2007, 08:57:27 am
Then it looks like you want a version of the no autonomous raking hack where you don't want your Sim to rake if there's leaves on the lot, but when you tell them to rake, you want them to continuously rake until all leaves are nice, piles of leaves or until you want them to stop. Smiley

I like watching my Sims rake because they don't do it often.  The advertisement is extremely low that the leaves will stay on the ground for days.  Then all of a sudden, one of my Sims wants to rake and I'm all giddy.  Tongue  However, when they rake, they'll continuously rake until every single pile of leaves has been raked and their temp gauge is all the way in the red and their energy is nearly zapped.  But then again, I have a slow motive decay hack, one of those hacks that stops spontaneous combustion, and I normally just let them do whatever they want.
