I tried this and found some differences. The only problem I have now is to decide which of the processes are really necessary. I`m a little worried about stopping some processes because I don`t really know what they are doing and I  don´t want to damage my PC by stoping something important...

Do you think it would help to re-install my game? Or would the problem still be the same with this unknown process still running?

Okay, I hope I don`t annoy anyone but I could not find my problem in a thread here...
I played my game yesterday and all worked as usual.
Today, I started my pc and wanted to load the game but it didn`t start. There popped up an error message but it containes no information (I added a little picture of it).
I did not add any CC or changed anything about the game. But in case it should be a CC problem, I removed my downloads folder and tried to start the game - but the error message popped up again.

I didn`t want to lose everything by re-installing the game, so I tried one last thing: We have different Windows users on one pc and I tried to start the game at my brother`s account - and there it worked without problems!

This is really weird and I just can`t think of anything that could cause the problem. Perhaps some of you have some ideas what could have went wrong with the game or my pc...
It would be very nice if somebody could help me.

My first two sims were called Sven and Anita Vandervelde. I can't remember who of them I made first but what I do remember is the fact that they had a bunch of wonderful sons called Sören, Hadrian and Appian. And a  daughter called Hannah who was not so wonderful, at all xD

They all died when our PC crushed down and I tried to re-make them a thousand times but I can't manage to re-produce them in the same way.. They always look weird and I never figured out to let them have such beautiful sons again.. *sigh*

First, I didn't like Keanu at all... But after a little makeover he turned out alright for me. Especially after I found that beard on Mod the Sims. Since then I love him ^^

Good to see Sapphire back, Gen0ism! I read what happened to her after her "first" birth.
She looks a bit like an antique goddess to me. The contrast between her dark hair and her pale skin is really fascinating!
But do you have any pictures of her husband? I wonder how the "source" of the darker skin of Sapphire's daughters looks like
And regarding Daniie: You did a great job on proving that the statement about the noses was wrong!

So here I go again with a few more pics as requested =)

First of all we have Marian's husband, Keanu (doing what he loves to do: eating xD). He used to be a very shy guy but Marian won his heart and turned him into a selfconfident young man with a touch of... erm... hardcore, as Gen0ism said ^^



Here we have their first daughter, Amber posing for the camera and cleaning her puppy's bowl. She wasn't planned but Marian got pregnant when she and Keanu still were teenager, so Marian was a pretty young mother.

 

This is Caroline, Amber's little sister. She's got a twin brother but I just couldn't make a pic of him before my game crushed...-.-
