31  Resident Creators / EP5 Mods / no autonomous raking leaves Updated(6/23/07) on: April 20, 2007, 09:39:05 am
Perfect.  And from what I read in the help section on this one, I'm even more stoked!
32  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / No autonomus raking on: April 20, 2007, 09:38:16 am
Wow, you see, now that I understand they won't just keep raking I like it.  I've noticed that after they're done raking (and sometimes when they're not) they move on to trim the bushes and water the flowers.  I told them to rake!  Now that hack sounds perfect for me.

Ah.  I think I understand now.  Sounds perfect.

I'm looking forward to installing it now, thanks for the clarification.  Smiley

Any specific version of the 'talk to many' hack?  I use the gold badge version...

Really really neat, but does this mean it will cancel all queued activities for the sake of tending the plants?  Might it be possible to insert the activity at the beginning of the queue instead, like servos do with their 'do chores' command?

Just a hope.

I love your auto do homework mod because homework is easy to forget about  so the kids should drop what they're doing and go do it, but for something like this I usually have as many sims as possible queue up tending the plants when your reminder dialogue comes up (I have big gardens.)

It's much appreciated that it skips sleeping sims though, means the vamps won't jump out and fry in the greenhouse.

Does this mean my sim can actually store the left-overs or am I reading that wrong?

Thanks for this hack,
Amber

There's a great 'left over' function in Seasons (EP5) that when you use the standard Maxis fridges you can store 'leftovers' in the fridge to be pulled out by children through elders.  They can be single plates or serving platters, and anything you cook can go in there (and a few items that you don't cook but get from elsewhere... usually custom objects.)

They aren't put there autonomously, nor are they grabbed autonomously from what I've seen (correct me if I'm wrong, folks.)

So if you have Seasons, you should have the function (unless a hack hasn't been updated from somebody else, Squige has done an amazing job of making sure his are updated and work with the leftovers function.)

For me, this makes the whole putting leftovers issue so much easier.  Before this a sim would just serve, not caring that only two sims were hungry and then having to run around after eating and put each individual plate away.  This cuts that out, which is much appreciated.

Only coffee/espresso related hack I had, but for some reason they're not drinking anymore.  They get the cup, but that's that, they just go, sit with it a moment, and then put the cup away.

I am also getting the exact same problem occurring since I installed this mod. The only way to stop the problem occurring is to remove the hack and play the game without this hack for the time being.

If you need another ditto... well, here it is.

no it's been broken since EP3 they never fixed it, lol

Well that explains why my wife's sims so frequently have twins.  Much needed added bonus, many thanks.

Awesome!

50% twin fix?  What did Seasons break?

Awesome!

Does it increase the max amount of food you can put in the juicer as well?  This seems better implemented than a similar one I got (thanks to the pie menu edits) but I'd appreciate the increased capacity of the juicer as well.

Also, (unrelated) what in the world does the boot puree even do?

Wonderful!

In your opinion Squige, is it wiser to use this or the startup file cheat?
