1  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Graduation on: June 22, 2009, 09:46:12 am
I have had the same issue:
I have had several parents with the wish that their teen kids graduate, but it's never been fulfilled. Even when my sim teens are on the honour roll, the wish to graduate doesn't get fulfilled. I haven't discovered any way to graduate either.
I would expect that the wish would at least be fulfilled once the teens grow up into YA, but nope.

3  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Apartment Life Chat / Re: Religious faith versus Non-conformist faith and the Sims 2 on: December 28, 2008, 02:49:51 am
I study religious studies in real life, and the sims is one of the places I go to when I don't want to have anything to do with religion for a while. So, I definitely do not associate my sims with religion in any way.

I've studied witchcraft & wicca, but realised I liked learning of them, but not actually practising them. Which is why I study religions.
Sim witches do not have anything to do with "real" witches, nor do they have anything to do with wicca. Wicca & witchcraft are so incredibly different from the sim witches. The only thing they have in common is that they can use a book to look up information. tongue

I understand why EA is staying away from putting anything remotely resembling "real" religion into the sims. A lot of people from other religions would throw a fit, and it would probably hurt the sales.

P.S. Any way to get that :worship: smiley to work? Tongue

we're working on the smilies .... granted, it's slow ... but we are working on it!!

Thank you for actually answering my question! It wasn't meant all that seriously, since you probably have more important things to do. But it's great to hear you are working on it! Cheesy

These past few weeks I had been pretty confused what on earth happened to one of my favourite sims2 sites. I had read Walt's first post, and parts of the thread that followed it. When I went back to read more of it a few hours later, I couldn't connect to insim anymore.  Until yesterday, I had no idea what was going on. I feared that Walt may have disliked the critiques so much that he pulled the plug on the entire site. huh

Then I found this site, and learned what had happened... shocked

I'm SO happy to have this site back! A HUGE  Fanku to all those who made it possible that this site came out of that horrible situation relatively unharmed. Praise I'm thrilled that these amazing people were able & willing to rescue the site!
THANK YOU! Cheesy

P.S. YAY, the smilies work!
7  Resident Creators / EP8 Mods / Re: No Autonomous Smell Flowers - Mansion & Garden on: December 19, 2008, 01:21:59 am
Thanks so much for this!
I like making gardens with loads of flowerbeds, and my sims became so busy smelling those *** flowers that they kept forgetting to eat, sleep, go to work, etc...  huh
I've never seen them smell a cactus though - I rarely use those. That is indeed a good time to consider therapy! Tongue
8  Resident Creators / EP8 Mods / Reputation Gain/Loss On All Lots on: November 22, 2008, 03:45:39 am
Thank you!
My sims rarely visit other lots (loading times: *yawn*), so none of them ever really got any kind of reputation. Plus, like BellaWillow said, it's stupid that you couldn't gain any reputation from interacting with the AL sims on your own lot.
So: THANK YOU!!!! :worship:
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Custom town or premade? on: November 21, 2008, 02:32:28 am
I prefer custom premade neighbourhoods, not made by maxis but by other users. There are a few for download on MTS2. For subhoods, I generally use the maxis premades because I'm too lazy to create one of my own.

11  Resident Creators / EP7 Mods / No Autonomous Blogging - FT/AL on: November 14, 2008, 08:08:54 am
This is a godsend!
My silly little sims can't stop blogging about their hobby, when they should be doing their homework, skillbuilding or earning simoleons.
Thanks so much!!!! :worship:

15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / help please!!! on: September 19, 2008, 02:22:23 am
Did you download something to make their diapers disappear? If so, see if you can find that download and delete it.
Downloads are usually found in the "My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads" folder.
If you didn't download anything, did you use a cheat or something else? Try undoing the cheat?
If nothing works, try reinstalling your game.
