Question I have gotten the error message that I do not have the needed expansion pack.. I have everything except Apartment Life, Mansion and Garden, and Ikea Home.. Do I need one or all of these for this very beautiful Sim?

Strictly speaking it is always a good idea to keep your drivers updated.  The reason, is that as tech evolves and as new soft/hardware comes on the market, a new or updated driver is needed to be able to do what you want your hardware to do seamlessly.  Updated drivers are sometimes critical in that the new driver may close a hole that may allow a hacker or inadvertently a virus in to your hardware. Not just your harddrive can be hit either.
 
Your firewall can only do so much and is only just one line of defense.  So  even if your not sure how to update or what to update. Get a hold of a competent tech near where you live for help and advice.

I hate being a pest, but which donation hair? Just so some one as dumb as I can be can find a little faster...

When I let the the sims play with the free will on.  Dad left for work daughter had started school and a bonfire.. Fool that I am i had one in the back yard for her to come home.
 
Mom lit the blasted thing on fire killed herself, her young son that was just crawling and grandmom. One would think she would have at least called the fire dept. Nope in fact she died without doing anything other watching the pretty flames....
 
It gets better. Place burns down dad and daughter show up and try to go through the nonexistant door. At that point I figured I either had a bug or the dumbest family on the block....

When i was playing I had over 20 gig in my download folder. No kidding. Though I slapped a new power supply from the none to powerful 350v to a robust 550v. I should have gone for the 600v I just didn't have the extra twenty bucks at the time. Plus I slapped two more gigs of ram.
 
Funny thing though. It wasn't until I stopped playing and started playing the games I normally play. First shooters, rpgs, strategies. y'know blood gore, all of that. Was when I started to have problems. It turns out that I should have bought a p4 chip when I was doing all my other up grades.
 
Thought that a larger hd would have solved it. A small 80gig hd doesn't cut it when your wife wants to play her games and you have a business to run as well. Maybe I will get both. that would make my Yule.
 
My thought on why your comp was bogging down is two things. One you might need a larger hd. and two you might want to think about a general upgrade.
 
But as friend of mine says, there is always a need for speed.
When it comes to gaming this is very true.

See I have been a real good..  So in the spirit of fairness please , Flid, Please. I know you are a busy person. Life and such does occur. amazing as that is I know it happens from time to time.
 
But enough.. The Commando Princesses are starting to mutter. Never a good thing. I really don't know how long I can keep them from doing guerrilla make overs.. :shudders:
