Recently I tried to create a new lot for my sims game.  When I got to installing the doors and windows, it would not allow me to.  Each time I tried to install a door or winow, I got the message door/window myst be placed on center of tile.  Using cheats and even (gasp!) deleting my download folder (which THIS time I thankfully backed up first!) netted me the same message. 

I would appreciate anyone and everyone's solutions to this mess.

I recently have developed a problem with my Sims2 game.  I have all of the EPs to date.  My problem is that I am now unable to add doors, windows, arches, or just about anything for that matter to my lot.  I keep getting the message "Must be placed on center of tile."  I have even deleted all of my custom content (after backing it up this time  ) and tried to use the Maxis (read crap) defaults.  Even they don't work.

My problem is further compounded by the fact that all of my EP's are digital downloads, meaning that I can't simply delete and reinstall.

Any help, cheats, or global overrides that would allievate this problem would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, greetings to the world famous grandmaster of hacks:  Squinge!!!  Without him and his wonderous hacks, simming as we know it wouldn't be worth playing....

Ok, enough of the blatent asskissing, here's the nitty gritty.

My first request would be along the lines of this:  creation of a mod that disables the "transformation" from sim to plant/werewolf/vampire.  My request would be that vampires and plantsims would still appear to be "human" and that werewolves transformations would not cause any noticable change and still look "human" (or however the sim looked BEFORE they became a werewolf.)

My second request is not along the lines of a "normal" mod request, but is still something that I would like to see done, if at all possible.  I would like a global mod that allows sims to set any type of outfit to be worn as they choose.  Examples would be wearing formal attire as pjs or swimsuits as outerwear or everyday.  I would also request that this mod affect (or is it effect, I can never remember which is which ) sims from toddler through elder in both genders.  If a global mod is unfeasable and/or impossible, then perhaps a hacked closet/dresser/whatever object be substituted.

Aside from the obvious EPs that these requests would encompass, I have all EPs to date, as well as Holidays, FFS, and Kitchen/Bath SPs.

I don't know if this is possible, but here goes anyways:

I am requesting a mod that allows you to pick the gender of all sims born in-game, similiar to the mod that allows you to specify gender when adopting.  I am NOT requesting something what would force every sim to be born a specific gender, but instead I am requesting something that asks which gender you want the sim infants to be before the naming screen appaers.

I would prefer this to work for any EP and SP, but if I must choose, then make it EP8 compatable. 

Oh yeah, I have all EPs, FFS, and kitchen/bath SPs.

heh heh heh....oops.  guess that goes to show what happens when you post at 4 in the morning.  can't count, forget rules (sorry Squinge)  please don't burn me!!!!!!!   (couldn't resist Comicalmuse)  as for the mod requests, if you can only do two, please do the first two.  the others would be nice, but are really just for my tastes.  the first two, in my opinion, are needed desperately.

first, I want to thank you for making me my spellcasters mod.  i appreciate all the hard work that went into making such a mod

my four mod requests are as follows:

1.  make the butler able to be replaced by a female teen/ya/adult (choice) just like your babysitting mod

2.  make it so that children can visit other apartments like teens and adults can

3.  if at all possible, SOMEHOW vastly reduce or eliminate altogether the casting time required for spellcasting.

4.  if at all possible, create a genie lamp that functions identially to the one in Freetime, but without needing freetime installed.

If you are willing to have another tester, I am willing to be a testee.  I have ALL of the EP's, but don't have Free Time installed.  My damn DVD drive decided to quit on me.  Apartment Life is a digital download.  I have Family Fun Stuff and Kitchen/Bath SP's installed, and have the holiday digital download installed.  I can't make a hack to save my life, so I rely on others for all the cool stuff in my sim games.  I know how to post screenshots and locate and post error logs.

Could anyone make a mod that would allow ANY magic sim to cast any magic spell at any time?
