I don't know why, and I don't see any mention of it here. I don't know if it is related to the Insimenator, but I suspect it might be. They have platinum wants (are pets supposed to go platinum?) and don't age. I have tried doing the 'aging on' thing, but it makes no difference. We want our kitties to grow up.

After I installed the game I sent a family on vacation to Twikkii Island. They never arrived. When I click on their house in Strangetown it says they are on vacation and would I like to play that lot. I click yes. Then I am taken to their Twikii Island house where live play, buy and build are all greyed out. However it's stuck on 'buy' because I can still buy items and put them on the lot and delete items. I'm on a Mac, so I fixed permissions and I can now send other sims on successful vacations, as long as I don't have the 'buybuild enabler' in my custom content. But I can't get this family back. Help!
