Can families you don't play 'move out of the area'?

Its just that I created me and my bf, we had 2 kids, a boy and a girl. I pursued the daughter, then her children had children. When I check in the family tree my self sim, her son who is/was married to Kaylynn and his 3 kids are still alive but nowhere to be found in the neightbour hood, can't phone them and have no relationships with them......

Is this a glitch or normal?

Where do I place my downloads?

I installed my sims 3 on D: and when I look in there, there is no Electronic Arts file. There is in my documents. Am I supposed to put them in My Documents like sims 2?

it was just so sudden, we are now trying to find out what he can and can't eat. The doctors were puzzled at how he could still be walking round with a blood sugar level that high! They haven't given us much info bout what we can do, and where to get the testing kits from.

Thanks, it was really sudden over the last week or so that he has been ill. Blood sugar in a healthy person is 7..... his was 67 last night!!

Hi, I only started playing 2 days ago, and I didn't really know how to move a family from their home, so I pressed Evict, and move them to their new home, and ever since then it has been crashing non stop. I then tried to move them to a different home and it still crashes there. I have lowered the graphic settings, incase that was the problem but it still happens. Is there anything I can do to save this family as it was the only one I have played - they are CAS sims, and I have no CC at the moment installed!

I think I'm gonna wait to see what people can do with it first before I buy it. If there is no CC or anything that can change gameplay, then whats the point? I don't like the crappy EAxis stuff. And personally from the screen shots i think she looks fat and plastic rather than realistic!

Have you taken your whole downloads folder or just hacks? You need to take the whole thing out and start putting bit in piece by piece, tedious but it will solve your problem!
