Whenever an adult male grows up using the Ephemera Asia Style skin, the Sims 2 always crashes and terminates, it however does not do this with a female sim.  Could it be the skin that is causing this or is it something else? I have every EP apart from OFB and the SPs.

Hey, my sims have decided to stop going to work! I have  used the HCDU and i can't see any conflicts that are not normal! Does this not bring up any hacks that are not compatible with FT?

i finally got my laptop working enough to run FT, when i went on to one of my families, all of the members had the sport hobby as their favourite (4 people, Mum, Dad, 2 Daughters) and 1 had Fitness as his choice (Son). I am waiting on a baby thats growing up soon and if she has the sport hobby i'm gonna flip!

Is either anyway to change them? And what predicts their favourite hobby? i have a feeling its probably personality, but how can i stop all the family having the same favourite hobby?

Once i have installed my Sims 2, i try to install Uni and all the expansion packs, when getting to the end of the university istallation it asks for disk 4 from the original sims 2, it then comes up with an error saying something has gone wrong and it will end the installation. Is this my computer or is it the disks?

Hi, is anyone computer savvy? when i try to install any expansion pack, when it asks you to put Disc 4 in at the end, it always says that there is a problem with the installation and ends the installation. I have had nothing but problems with this stupid computer. And also my computer resets itself without warning or an error code. And also when i download off the net it always says that the files are corrupt.

I have tried installin numerous times, and have formatted my computer twice. Could there be incompatibility issues with my hardware for it to do this? Or is it the operating system?

Hey, whenever i try to load up bon voyage it crashes, i thought it must be some CC that i had downloaded, but when i tried it without CC it still crashed saying something like 'Sims 2 Bon Voyage has crashed. This program will now terminate'. I have all EP's but not SP's.

My computer specs are 3ghz dual core processor, 2gb RAM, 512mb Graphics card.

Is it my computer that is goosed or do i just need to reinstall?

I was wondering if someone could help me. I recieved my computer today off ebay. I opted not to have an operating system installed because i have a windows 98 boot disc.

So anyways i fdisked and dropped the partitions and formatted the drive, and fdisked again and put new partitions in, i then proceeded to install windows 98.

When i installed windows 98, and when it was booting up for the first time, it came up with an error saying that i did not have enough memory to initialise 98, when i have 2gb memory which the bios is recognising.

The computer then resets itself, i have tried formmatting it again and installing again and this hasn't worked.

My system is 64-Bit which i'm not sure if this makes a difference.

6ghz processor (64-Bit dual core)
2gb Ram
160gb SATA hard drive

If you need any more info just say because i dunno what you  need!!

Hi pretty much says in the title! I am running all EP's except OFB, no SP's. Hacks include ACR, Inteen, Insim, Chistian Lov Skintone selector. is this a hack problem or is it a hardware problem?

I have just bought what i thought was 2GB of ram... but when put in my computer it reads it as 512mb... could my computer be wrong when it says that in dxdiag or have i been made a fool of and sold something that is only 512mb?

Ever since i installed this damn EP, i will play for about an hour then it will suddenly come up with a message saying:

'The Sims 2 Bon Voyage has crashed. The programme will now terminate'

Also i'm having problems with my skintones:



The face is a different colour to the rest of the body. This has happened to every child in that family. I have all expansions installed except OFB. No stuff packs. Have tried tried Delphy's program to get rid of duplicates, but still have the problem.

Tonight, when i have downloaded a sim, when i have tried to install it, it comes up with this message



When i then installed Clean Installer, it says that the downloads that i had downloaded where empty packages. Is this anything wrong with my game or should i just download them again?
