it's your graphics card Sad I had the same problem and so have others.
First what you have to do is find out what make of card your graphics card is and then type it into a search engine, e.g google.com, along with "driver updates".
For example "ATI Radeon X1050 driver updates"
download the driver update which will be free and run the aplication to apply the update.
Sometimes this solves the problem but if it doesn't then unfortunately you need a new card Sad

6  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Patch Question on: February 17, 2007, 05:08:17 am
Hi, this seems like a really dumb question but I just want to know just in case Smiley I have all 4 EPs, but lost the manual to uni. I have the serial code finder from MTS2 installed, but it can't find uni! I don't think I have ever patched my uni game, is it still safe to? Will it override my other EPs if I patch uni? Thanx S2P :-P
7  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Problem with Pets and CAS on: February 11, 2007, 04:36:12 pm
First take them out of your downloads folder and run the game to see if they are causing the problem. If they are just leave them out of your downloads folder, but if they are not try taking out all of the hacks and anything that changes the game behaviour and put them back in one at a time and try to find which one is causing the problem Smiley

Yes, those are the hacks I'm talking about, have you downloaded those or any lots recently? If you have downloaded lots try downloading the sims2pack clean installer, the hacks should show up as red in the listing of all your downloads Smiley

Did you have the CAS modifing hacks in your game from MTS2? Also yes a custom CAS does have an importance as many of them use custom objects. Restart your game, enabling custom content and check out the CAS. It happened in mine as well, I just reloaded the game with enabled custom content and it showed up fine Smiley
PS: you are very good at english, no mistakes that I can spot Smiley

Oh fabulous job doll!
lol, thanx, believe it or not I am roughly doll-sized, lol maybe that's why I love making toddler items Smiley
Alekz, it might work without pets as the crib is cloned from the maxis original and so is the potty Smiley
15  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / New toddler beds and potties! *Updated 3rd Feb 07* on: January 29, 2007, 12:47:12 pm
Hi! I was looking around for a toddler bed, and couldn't find one that worked completely so I made one! Fully recolourable, it is available for babies too, if someone wanted to code it so that it wasn't, I wouldn't mind Smiley After making that I thought, what about a matching potty? So I resized the "'Mentionable' Porcelain Toilet" and turned it into a potty! Again, you still have to empty it, but I'd be happy for people to have a shot at coding it differently Smiley There was something missing from the potty and I realised it was echo's toilet mat! So I resizd that mesh and turned it into a potty mat! All objects are made with all 4 EPs installed and GL stuff pack, but they are both cloned from objects included in the orginal game, so they should work without them. All objects also use separate GUIDs so they shouldn't overwrite any of your other objects. Thanx, and I hope you like them Cheesy

Note: Massive thankyou to beosboxboy and Pilotpigeon for registering the GUIDs for me!

Note2: The pink and blue textures are from simsquirts.com, visit the site to download the matching walls, floors, rugs, chairs, cribs and more!! Cheesy

Note3(last one, promise!): Feel free to recolour this as much as you like, just please give credit, and NO paysites Smiley I also love checking out what others have done with my meshes, post a link, I'd love to see it Smiley

Update 1: Potty mat now available!
