17  Simmers' Paradise / Content Creation & Recoloring Help / new GUIDs please on: January 24, 2007, 04:20:47 pm
I made these meshes using simPE, but since I have no internet connection on the comp where simPE is installed I cannot safely make or register new GUIDs! I'd be really grateful if someone could register a couple of new GUIDs for my toddler bed and new potty mesh! thanx Cheesy
18  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Before you install Pets on: December 22, 2006, 01:31:55 pm
I've done some research, and it does seem the only solution is to buy a new video card Sad find the game system specs on the official sims2 website, and it also has a full list of supported video cards. If your card is not there, get one of the ones from the list, that's what I'm doing Sad

20  Sims 2 Community Downloads / CAS Scenes & Music / Sophisticated CAS on: August 28, 2006, 11:04:13 am
yeah, I have the same EP's as you so that can't be the problem.... I will check everything that is in the CAS and try to find anything that is not included in the zip Smiley Also are you renaming the original CAS package to something like "Original_CAS!" and are you properly installing the .sims2pack files, and not just placing them in your downloads folder?
edit: this may seem like a dumb question, but do you have the CEP? 'cause you'll need that for recolours to work. Smiley
21  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Mixed Clothing / Japanese schoolgirl outfit *requested by twinslife* on: August 27, 2006, 04:20:06 am
yeah, it is, but she requested this before she requested the mod, so I felt that I should help her.
22  Sims 2 Community Downloads / CAS Scenes & Music / Sophisticated CAS on: August 27, 2006, 04:11:55 am
ok, you may have installed all the files but did you put them in the right place? Smiley the CAS! file needs to go in the folder specified at the top of the thread. the folder in the zip named "objects" or something like that must go in your downloads folder. and EVERYTHING else that is downloaded from the links must also go in your downloads folder. (also what EP's do you have? that might effect it)
23  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Girl / Female child hiphop clothes on: August 17, 2006, 05:20:27 am
I dont know about everyone else but I for one feel that the maxis female child clothes are a little too girly. So I made these. Cloned from dglenntaylor's hiphop boys, I turned them into girls clothing too. You'll need the mesh : http://www.spiffysims.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=238&min=20&orderby=titleA&show=10
The outfits come in red, blue, green, orange and purple. Enjoy!! Cheesy
24  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / 1 Kilbrek Crescent (garage and above ground level pool) on: August 12, 2006, 01:00:56 pm
I think you only need OFB for the pool tile, if you can find a different one that doesn't need OFB and uncheck the pool tile when you install the house using Sims2Pack Clean Installer, you should be able to use it fine Smiley

26  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Mixed Clothing / Japanese schoolgirl outfit *requested by twinslife* on: August 10, 2006, 07:10:44 am
As requested, hope it's OK. I know it's not exactly like the piccy but it's the best I can do seeing as I don't have meshing resources! Sad Anyway, if there's a specific thing you want changed let me know!! Smiley Enjoy!! Cheesy
27  Sims 2 Community Downloads / CAS Scenes & Music / Sophisticated CAS on: August 08, 2006, 03:17:45 pm
This is my first CAS, hope you like it! Smiley Unzip the file and place it in C:Program File/EA Games/Most recent expansion/TSData/Res/GlobalLots, remember to rename the original CAS package someting like "Original_CAS!" so that you can go back to it. For the objects, just place them in your downloads folder.
I have used loads of custom content, and being the nice person that I am (lol) have included a folder in the .zip file which includes the objects I was allowed to redistribute. For the others:
Steps: http://www.4eversimfantasy.net/other5.htm
Candles + windows: http://www.simfantastic2.com/eas_download.htm (you will get a heap of other stuff, but trust me, it's well worth it Smiley)
Pillows mesh: http://mangosims2.free.fr/meubles.htm (on the left salons>page2>set opera)
Divider: http://sims-2.gameslife.ru/objects_single5.htm

Note: You will need these in order for the CAS to work properly: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=162363 (wind_CASmirrorrecolor_black.package + wind_CASinvisibleobjects.package - *updated* + wind_CASinvisibleobjects_familypart.package)
Enjoy!! Cheesy

It took me three days and I am finally happy with it!! Fully furnished and decorated it has no hacks and costs just under $153,000 (a lot I know). It is built on a foundation with attatched garage and (the best part) a TOP LEVEL swimmable pool!!! (credits go to frillen7 at sapphiresims2 for teaching me how to make it and providing the water tile). You will need to acivate the "setHighestAllowedLevel 6" cheat to view the house correctly and if you want to modify it there are some instructions in the thumbnails that you MUST follow! Uni, NL and OFB are all needed for it to work.
My credits go to: Fairytale crops: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=177760&highlight=fairytale+crops (you will need Echo's harvest basket to harvest these crops. Click the link in the post)

For all their amazing custom content and allowing it to be included!! Enjoy!!! Cheesy
Warning once unzipped the file is huge, around 39MB, so i don't recommend it for slower computers!

I don't think you need to download the mesh, it should be included
But incase it's not it's called "Loose Mini Heels" and can be found on page 1 of the meshes page Smiley
