You need more RAM to. The minimum for Sim3 is 2gig for Windows xp.

Girl, I think you need RAM, RAM and RAM. Your OS is eaten up the most of that little bit of RAM you have. I'm really surprised that you even could play the Sims2. huh I had to upgrade my older PC who is now 4 years old to 2Gigabyte of Ram to play it.

For the Sims3 to run a had to buy a new PC, because my older one was maxed out on all his upgrades.

nvidia drivers a pretty icky and the need to be updated often. Yes there was one driver years ago that was better you left it untouched, but just for the sims2. Other games had not problems with new updates. Because of the problems with sims2 and nvidia cards I changed over to ATI-Radion.

First download the newest driver for the card. It cost nothing. That is free.

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us It is easy to find your driver. Make sure when you install the driver, that your Anti-Virus is turned off. After installing you can turn it on again.

It's a while that I used nvidia cards, so I'm not sure what that guy said about the settings. Can you post me the link?

By any chance is your mother's pc to the internet conected? It can be a problem that the launcher want's to phone home Undecided

The ram is a big problem. 1.5 gig is not enough. At minimum you need 2gig.

And you need to update your graf-card. Go to the nvidia webside and it is very easy to find the right driver for your card.

There are some small things, what every player should do when he/she gets a new game. Defragging the hard drive and updating all the drivers.

I think it is pretty realistic, that snow is on porches and patios, because it is a matter how the wind blows the snowflakes and they will land under the roofs in an open area.

Where ever I lived, I had snow on porches, patios and balkonies, who are covered on the top but open on three sides.

Hi SimCoffee,

the first mod I posted clearly says that the male sims get prevented from leaping into arms. That means to me, that females are doining it still spontaneously.

In the second mod I posted, it will makes every gender nonautonomous.

That are two different mods.

The first mod prevents just men and females are doing it still. Wink

For both is EP 2 required and you can have only one in the game.

Simsky had made a mod called durable food a long time ago. It still works with all ep's.
You have to look under TS2 Objects.

Since we are on that subject paternity leave I have a question, if it possible, that after birth the choice comes up, who wants to stay at home with the infant. Daddy or mom? And than the one who stays at home becomes the paid vacation days. Why not a stay-at-home dad?

I have all Eps incl. M&G.

Thanks.

It's just to funny, if I want to have a family with twins I let the pregger drink O-juice. Giggle

Are your still working on the second part of my request, or is it not possible to reduce the filling effect down to normal snacks size?
