This might not be of much help, but the Insimenator comes with the option to turn buy and build mode on or off.  I use it all the time when a burglar comes and I forgot to buy an alarm. You could get your Sims out of bed this way, but I'm not sure if it'd work.

Do you have any mods that have to do with pregnancy?  They may be out of date/incompatible with whatever expansion packs you have.  If you do have anything like that, update them or get rid of them completely.  If that isn't the problem, I'm not sure what it could be. Some of my Sims can't have babies, but they can always try.  It's sort of irritating.

Well, male elders can still make babies.  So if you really didn't feel like making the children in CAS, you could make them marry as adults (as mentioned before), then move them in, then age him to an elder and let the babymaking begin~

I had a problem with this, too.  It might be your disk.  You can either get a new one or (I'm not sure if it's legal to suggest this, but here goes:) you can download a no-cd crack, which will allow you to run the game without a CD or DVD disk.  I'm not going to risk posting a link to one, as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to, but I'm at least throwing the idea out there for you. (:~

Edit:  Lo and behold, that didn't do it either.  I've also tried removing all of my downloads, but Bodyshop still doesn't work.  Ugh, this is so frustrating.

It's not possible for that to happen in CAS that I know of.  However, if you have the Insimenator, you could just make the Sims marry as adults in CAS, make the children, move them into their house, and then use the Insimenator (or related mod) to age him up to an adult. :3~

This is the third time I've had issues with Bodyshop.  I can resolve it by creating a new account on my computer, but that's just too much of a hassle to do every time something goes wrong.  I'd have at least 20 accounts by the end of the year for sure.  Anyway, I load up Bodyshop and it crashes.  Not immediately, mind you, it has the decency to load up all the way before crashing.  I've deleted all of the files that are safe to delete (groups.cache and company) and still nothing.  I'm beginning to think it may be my computer, as when I tried it with my friend's computer (same downloads, same expansion packs save for Apartment Life, which I have and she does not), it works out just fine.  What's going on, exactly?  This exact same thing has been happening multiple times.

if i do delete it, is there a way for me to save all of the relations my families have to each other without having to go through simPE and add all their memories back?

i don't know how that happened, but it just did.  i was loading up the sims for the first time in months and went to my neighborhood.  i'll take screenshots of the neighborhood next time i load the game up to show you.  also, some of my sims are missing from said neighborhood, and when i click on one family, the game freezes.  i'm not sure if this is because of the fact that my computer was seriously slow last night or if it's an issue in my game, but whatever the reason, that family doesn't seem to want to work.

i'm about to load my game up and test a few things out since i just extracted the sim i lost with simpe so i can piece her back together. = w=~~  any help with this is appreciated!

if it helps, i'm running on windows vista and i have about 5GBs left of space on my computer. e we  i also tried moving ts2 to my external harddrive to free up some space on my computer but gave up because my computer didn't have enough memory to move all that stuff. xD  idk if that has anything to do with anything, though.

I like the idea of new voices.  I always wanted to be able to import a sound clip of someone talking and have it generate Simlish from there.  It wouldn't be exactly the same, but it'd be at least a bit closer than the other stuff.  Oh, that'd be so cool~ <333

...Though I'm not too thrilled about TS3 coming out.  If it can do the voice thing that I just mentioned, that'll be about the only reason why I buy/download it. >w>
