This is the third time I've had issues with Bodyshop.  I can resolve it by creating a new account on my computer, but that's just too much of a hassle to do every time something goes wrong.  I'd have at least 20 accounts by the end of the year for sure.  Anyway, I load up Bodyshop and it crashes.  Not immediately, mind you, it has the decency to load up all the way before crashing.  I've deleted all of the files that are safe to delete (groups.cache and company) and still nothing.  I'm beginning to think it may be my computer, as when I tried it with my friend's computer (same downloads, same expansion packs save for Apartment Life, which I have and she does not), it works out just fine.  What's going on, exactly?  This exact same thing has been happening multiple times.

i don't know how that happened, but it just did.  i was loading up the sims for the first time in months and went to my neighborhood.  i'll take screenshots of the neighborhood next time i load the game up to show you.  also, some of my sims are missing from said neighborhood, and when i click on one family, the game freezes.  i'm not sure if this is because of the fact that my computer was seriously slow last night or if it's an issue in my game, but whatever the reason, that family doesn't seem to want to work.

i'm about to load my game up and test a few things out since i just extracted the sim i lost with simpe so i can piece her back together. = w=~~  any help with this is appreciated!

if it helps, i'm running on windows vista and i have about 5GBs left of space on my computer. e we  i also tried moving ts2 to my external harddrive to free up some space on my computer but gave up because my computer didn't have enough memory to move all that stuff. xD  idk if that has anything to do with anything, though.

TL;DR Version:  My bodyshop isn't working.  I deleted the stuff that respawns and it still doesn't work.  I haven't downloaded anything related to bodyshop.  The latest EP I have is Freetime and I'm using that Bodyshop.  Help? o 3o

Longer Version: I went off to the requests subforum here to ask if someone could make Neuro's hair (from Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro) and suit for me, and almost asked for the eyes as well, but decided to take a crack at making eyes for myself.  Load up Bodyshop, wait a minute, it crashes.  I get the typical EA crash dialogue: "The system has crashed.  The operation will now terminate."  So I'm like, "okay, let's try again."  After trying about five times, I've concluded that there's something wrong with it.  I deleted Accessory.cache, Groups.cache, and cigen, and still it's not working.  It loads up about a fourth of the way then crashes.

Other stuff that might be useful:  When Bodyshop crashes, it produces two files, both named "TS2BodyShop xxxx.xx.xx yy.yy.yy", "x" standing for the date and "y" standing for the time in military time, including seconds.  I'm assuming these are crash logs or something.  The extensions are ".txt" (a text file) and ".mdmp" (I don't know what this is).  (I attached one of the .txt files, so you can examine it if you want.)  I tried moving them out of the folder to see if that would work, but it still crashed and produced another pair of files.  Also, when I went to check my projects folder (to practice making Neuro's eyes), nothing was there.  In all actuality, I've made a few things in Bodyshop, including hair recolors and eyes, so at least ONE folder should come up, but nothing does.  I haven't downloaded anything pertaining to Bodyshop.  I have all expansion packs and stuff packs excluding Kitchen Stuff and Celebration Stuff.  I recently installed all of the stuff packs (excluding H&M Stuff and the ones I already listed, of course) and haven't played TS2 or ran Bodyshop since I got them, but since I borrowed them from a friend and returned them when I finished, I can't take them off right now.  Those could be the culprits, but I'm not sure.  

Any help is appreciated!  I really want to make a Neuro sim! ; 3;

As before, my Seasons expansion pack will not download.  However, this is the strange part:  it installed just fine on my other computer.  But there's one thing:  I had to buy ANOTHER copy for it to work on my old computer (we exchanged it).  So it worked then.  But I don't want to go out and buy another version.  I don't have the receipt for it, so I don't think I'll be able to exchange it.  This isn't the only game that's doing this; OFB decided it wants to be a rebel, too.

One last thing:  is there any way to get rid of hacks that are exclusive to a certain EP? That could be why none of my stuff is showing up, but then again, it might not be.

Okay.  Here's my story: I have 3.1k things of custom content, and only about 1/8 of them work.  Not even 1/8, actually. D;  My default skins don't work, my custom skins won't show (unless I downloaded them from a Sim), a select few of Bruno's eyes are appearing, and all of my custom previews look awful. (I attached a picture of CAS to show you.)  I downloaded other clothes, too, but they're not working.  Here's the funny part:  while all of the files are there, it's like they're invisible.  I downloaded some of my other clothes that I previously had from Adele Sims to see if they'd work, and they do.  Since I had them before (I downloaded them from a Sim and they were there), I figured that I'd have to prompt WinRAR to unzip the contents since I already had some of them, but I didn't.  What's with that?  Please help me~! D;  I want to play so baaaad~!

Things to Know:
--I spelled "Downloads" right.
--I deleted my groups.cache and restarted.
--I'm enabling custom content.
--I'm allowing CC to be shown in the catalog.
--Build mode's CC works, all of it.  At least the thumbnails do.
--Everything that doesn't need a mesh is working--eyebrows, makeup, certain clothes, etc.
--I reinstalled the game and now even the build mode stuff doesn't work.

I'm sort of upset that nothing's working. u___u  Can anyone help me out, please?

So I loaded up SimPE and started to play around with it for a bit--not really making any changes, just browsing, y'know?  Anyway, I wanted to set my Sim's dancing skill, and while I was looking, I spotted an allergies token!  (I just think that's adorable, but it could be because I'm weird. xD!)

My questions are, do Sims have allergies?  And if so, what do they do (like, are they allergic to certain foods, or do they just go outside and sneeze around trees?), and how can I give my Sims allergies?  I'm not gonna tinker with this stuff until I know for sure, because I loooove~ this town I'm messing with. >w>;;

Another thing.  My Sims are really stupid.  When they could very well just walk down the hall to reach their bedroom, they insist on going outside, going all the way around the house, through the garage, and then to their room.  They could have walked two inches to get to their room, but oh no, they had to waste two sim hours to get to their room instead. D:  Is this a glitch, and how can I fix it?  I used the hack detection utility, and it said nothing was wrong.  And besides, this was happening even before I downloaded any hacks.  Maybe there's a hack that can fix this? xD;;

One last really, really dumb question.  In Seasons, where is the wishing well? XD!!  I looked for countless hours for it and couldn't find it.  I thought it might have been an aspiration/career reward, but it wasn't there, I looked through the Seasons collection, it wasn't there, and then I looked through the community lot stuff, and it wasn't there either. D;  Maaaan, I wanted to use that, too...

In Veronaville, my darling town--it has all of my best looking Sims and generations upon generations of people in it that aren't the Montys, Capps, or Summerdreams--the camera doesn't move from the river that runs through the middle of the town.  Sure, it twitches, but it zooms in all the way, and I can't move it.  It happened while I was playing the game, too.  When I left one of my families, it flashed to a black screen, occasionally blinking "Now Loading Veronaville."  Then when I restarted, it just went to the river.  I'm not sure about the other towns, but I'm too worried about my families in Veronaville to care about the others. D;  I just want to fix Veronaville before I worry about the other neighborhoods.  Help, please?

Here's what happened:  I installed it yesterday, did everything like I was supposed to, yeah, but I didn't remove any hacks, which I think could be the problem, but it'll take too long to try that. D:  Anyway, I installed Seasons yesterday, was soopar excited so I started playing.  I installed it, but then it wouldn't come up, like, at all.  It said "please wait..."  The splash screen, I guess that's what people call it, came up, then went away.  So I'm like, "WTH? Dx"  And I tried to run it again. So it did, and I was happy, and I played it.  I got home today because I'm using The Sims 2 in my project, tried to load up The Sims, and it brought up the installation screen.

I don't think I let The Sims 2 install totally, but it worked yesterday.  What could be wrong today?  I didn't download anything new since yesterday!  The only thing I DID download today isn't even in my downloads folder yet, mainly because I don't have Seasons installed yet, apparantly.  Is this happening to anyone, or just to me? :help:

Also, it went really fast when it installed yesterday, and now it's stuck at 8%.

I was extremely excited to have a whopping one gigabyte of memory for my computer, since I was running on nearly a quarter of that--I haven't upgraded my computer for four years. xD  So my mom installed the new memory and I loaded up the Sims a few days later.  I DID download a few things before I did that.  I'm worried that one of the files I used is the problem.  I am going to load the Sims 2 up right now and find out if the problem is in the custom content--which I am positive of--or if it's in the game itself.  Most all of my Sims have the pleasure aspiration, which means they want to go out most EVERY DAY, and I can't do that because A:  they won't even get in a car, and B:  when I call up a taxi, it stops by the mailbox, disappears, and then drives back to the mailbox!  If you don't understand what I mean, it's like the taxi/carpool/school bus drives up to the mailbox, honks it's horn, then disappears.  In an instant, it's driving back up again...does anyone know what I mean?

I have all of the expansion packs so far with the exception of any "stuff" packs, if that's of any help to anyone.

Were there any Sims 2 patches I may have missed that might have caused this, or could it be something else?  And if the problem is in my custom content,  how can I find the problem file?  Will Sims 2 clean installer find it?
