Indeed!  It takes some work to figure out all the Warlokk files and keep track of what you have installed, but for me it's worth it to have the variety in my neighborhoods.  Try thinking of the body shapes like installing different sets of things to decorate houses; then it all starts to make sense!

Ya know what I really need?  Tennis shoes and shorts!  It's really hard to make a good jogging outfit. :lol:

I can also verify that the old outfits based on BlooM's 34DDe36 multishoe mesh still work fine with this new version.

I have found that I use the white walls a lot, especially to paint the insides of garages.  The lighting in garages is usually dim enough that they look just right.

The black, on the other hand, is still as black at the darkest midnight down in a cypress swamp.

I'm not too worried that EA will intentionally make an expansion pack or a new game that prevents the fans from making custom content.  

I can't speak for them, of course, but I'm sure that their marketing folks understand that every smidgeon of fan-created content on the web is another little incentive for people to buy their games.  In fact, I can't think of a cogent business reason that EA would want to slow down fan artists; while at the same time, I can think of lots of business reasons that they wouldn't want fan artists to go looking for a competing game to support.

I finally got to play with them and encountered in interesting anomaly: If I install too many of them, when I select Merola's Multipainting in my Buy catalog, the game starts looping away with its hourglass cursor and never comes back.

I've been interating on it, trying to find an optimum solution.  So far, 5 is OK but 9 triggers the bug.

Lots of credit for that goes to Sussi and Helaene and Hathor and Rensim and Sims2BNP!  I am still in awe of the creative talent of the fan artists who can make the makeup work so well; have never succeeded in that area myself.

SakuraSan101, no offense intended; it is a true story.  The underlying point is that the philosophy espoused by the arrogant rich criminals is to destroy the livelihood of less fortunate professional artists.

Oooh... Raonsims is a new one to me!  I haven't snooped around much yet, but she has some stunning hair styles on her front page!  Incredibly pretty sims, too!  And I guess it counts as a "pay" site because there is some text that hints that there must be some "donation" items around there somewhere.

B'b'but... The Wooden Simolean and Simsational Sandy (which are now sections of Sun Sims) don't count as "pay" sites unless you're watching an old movie. :lol:
(I did put a PayPal begging button on Sun Sims, so in the parlance used on the Ultimate Sims List it would be a "Free*" site, like Insimenator.  The * means that there's a begging button but there's no charge for any of the downloads.)

I think the trick to The Sims Resource is to learn to spot a few of your favorite artists and watch for goodies from them.  Keep an eye on the newer artists, though; I've watched some of the really great artists develop their skills over the years.

Hey, I just thought of one that I still host!  Dincer Hepguler has a few "donation" items, so he counts as a "pay" site!  He has some great stuff--very eclectic.  You'll see a lot of middle eastern designs on his site because he lives in Turkey.  I haven't talked to Dincer much lately, but I just realized I've been hosting his stuff for six years now!  
(FYI, all costs for the Moon Sims server are donated by CyberTeams; no charge to fans or webmasters.  Sites hosted there are allowed to do begging if they want to; I'm a zero-hassle web host as long as the webmasters don't put adult or political material on their sites.  Donations to Dincer support his son's college fund; Dincer himself never even sees the money.)
