With permission from the lovely Pestix, I bring you... corsets for Warlokk's Renaissance Gal! Wheee! Indeed, all of the corsets are here, all 13 of them. They are each paired with a simple blackish-gray skirt, so they will not distract from Pestix's creations. (I did try putting them with matching-colored skirts, but it just didn't work as well as the dark skirt.) I tried to label the files to give a description, so you can delete some if needed. ("pwwdot" is the "pink with black dots" corset; I goofed.)

Ages ago, I found a skirt on GoodGoth.com that I thought of sewing for myself. I realized making it for the sims is less costly (and time-consuming) than sewing it. This uses the long, loose dress mesh, so it has that thing that hangs down in the back. I couldn't get rid of it, because it's part of the mesh, not an alpha.

This started as an attempt to sim a skirt i made for myself. The fabric was black and white vertical stripes with a checkerboard trim. I tried a Sim-Chic mesh, which didn't capture the original skirt at all. I tried Marvine's infamous alpha skirt, which turned out horribly. (I had tried using Ghanima's alpha edit, so I want to thank her for helping me with my experiment) When Warlokk's Hi-Res RenGal shape came out, I fell in love. I tried the sundress mesh, but the stripes came out going everywhere but straight. In the end, I kept the checkerboard trim and went with bright colors instead of the stripes.

The skirts come in 8 colors, all with a black and white trim: purple, yellow, blue, pink, red, white, lime green (my fav), and orange. Pick your poison; I tried to label the files as best I could. Remember, Warlokk's mesh is needed! http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=40486

I started converting some outfits (including University outfits; they're coming) to Warlokk's RenGal bodyshape back in March. Now that school is out for the semester, I can finish up the conversions. (My latest obstacle is my computer shutting down in-game because of overheating. That's what I get for having the laptop in my lap!)

I want to thank Corinne and Warlokk for their wonderful creations. Without their work, The Sims 2 just isn't worth playing.

this is my first creation-post, so go easy on me. i've made a very simple recolor of the base game black polo shirt: it's been darkened and the collar is black and white striped. this was inspired by a shirt i bought from ebay a long time ago (the included photo if it, and me, is from January 2006).

the flaws i've picked out: the edges of the stripes look fuzzy and the black looks like the color has been slightly saturated. (the way it is in the screen shots is really how it looks in-game.) i was wondering what i could do to fix this. i'm not an expert with computer imaging programs (i just got Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 for my birthday); this is the first sims creation i've been willing to post in fact (i have others, simple recolors). my guess is that the texture changed when i was saving it in my program from a layered photoshop file to a bmp. also, i have another creation that is basically text on a shirt, but my text is fuzzy on that as well. they look fine in bodyshop, but in-game is another matter.

for now, i thought i'd offer it up for critique. i'd like to become a better texture-er-type-person. when i get brave, i might make some more creations and post them. thank you for reading this post. (once i figure out my imaging program more, i'll update this file.)
