31  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Kitchen bath and Interior Design Bug? on: April 23, 2008, 07:40:37 am
Did you try running the game with no cc or hacks?  One of those could be interfering.

And I have cloudless nights conversions, and don't have the ep's.  Haven't downloaded the robe one though.
32  Simmers' Paradise / Mac-Users Only Peer Support / windows to Mac Conversion on: April 20, 2008, 03:42:30 pm
Technically with the tap of a button...BootCamp requires a restart into windows...if you are using virtual machine, then yes you can switch back and forth with the touch of a button.

But you should not try to run the game using XP in the virtual realm, nor should you run the game on the OSX side while the virtual realm is open.

Lag...too many resources are trying to run XP and there won't be enough to run anything else.

I know I've seen this issue before, but cannot remember how to solve.  Pretty sure there is a question RE this at MTS.  You could try searching with those keywords in there help...

Yes Mi-chii, I think you don't have a choice anymore.  I thought I had read Apple made it that way.
37  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / God awful problems...! on: April 13, 2008, 12:08:16 pm
But again dorina, does this happen with no cc?

Do you have these issues if you remove cc?

And if you post the error someone may be able to help better.
39  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Stairs picture question. on: April 12, 2008, 09:19:23 pm
If you use tab  and go into free mode, I think they do go invisible.  Otherwise GunMod at MTS2 has camera hacks, and some allow for this.  I can't remember which one it is though.
40  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Help...Diagnal windows and curtins on: April 12, 2008, 09:16:11 pm
Diagonal windows have to be made that way.  Diagonal curtains also.

To make furniture diagonal requires the UNI EP or later.  Use the boolprop 45degreeangle true cheat.

Your welcome.  I think Numenor has updated the install directions for Leopard.

:toothy10:  well I don't have that mod so...is there different ones for different ep's?
43  Simmers' Paradise / Mac-Users Only Peer Support / Imac with intel core duo on: April 10, 2008, 10:23:50 pm
Yea well the intel chips don't like the patches.  Objects turn different shades of blue.  I think there solution is to upgrade.  And honestly BV was worth the updated graphics for me.

Try putting all your hair and skin, etc, in your SavedSims folder.  This used to be the only place they worked way back with the base game.  You CANNOT subfolder within there though.  Put a couple and give it a try.

If hacks work, downloads should as well.  Remove all cc and load bodyshop.  it will create a new Downloads folder, then move a little at a time in to test.  Make sure to check all yes enable boxes and restart.

And I posted in another thread, your game should be now installed in your Applications folder.

EDIT:  macgamefiles has patches.  The Pets one for sure is Intel compatible.

Sims works on Leopard.  You may have to reinstall everything.  Actually since you now install in your Applications folder you probably will have to reinstall. Make sure to back up on an external anything you want to keep, as I've heard not everything transfers over all in one piece.

As to WooHoo, I don't have Leopard, well actually I do I just haven't been able to upgrade it due to school.  But anyway so far no reports on how it works.  Try it.  Let us know.

Aspyr used to say to say install on your HD in a games folder, now if you have Leopard I believe you are to install into your Applications folder.

If you just drag they may not work.  You might need to reinstall.

I vaguely remember a rev c patch....but that's old.  I have rev d saved on my external from around april 2006.  But the new combo patch should work.
