Question: How are modders considered experts? I mean, sure they probably know what they're talking about, but I wouldn't consider them experts.

The only problem with finding/playing the Japanese version is that you'd have to know Kanji. Dunno 'bout y'all, but I'm not knowledgeable in the way of the Kanji.

Perhaps the Japanese version might include those Japanese idol models, you know, the ones that pose in very scanty lingerie pretending to be super innocent.
They're supposed to be teen role models that's why they're forbidden to show anything. That's just gonna mean that EA. are going to have to include sexy lingerie.
Yea yea I know. I'm still being sarcastic. Wink

I could totally see that in the Japanese version. >.>,,,

Now, I won't say that I'm getting tired of TS2 (because I've been trying to get the last three EPs I needed for my mac), but I know that I'm really looking forward to being able to customizing colouring items the way I want them to be and designing clothes I'd actually wear.

Here in the US, it'll be Rated T for Crude Humour, Sexual Themes, and Violence so it isn't exactly family friendly, just teen friendly.

That is your opinion.

I myself haven't really been the hardcore TS2 gamer; I've recently started playing almost-nonstop a couple months ago and I don't have a lot of cc, mostly just hacks and hacked objects.

(One, I'm sorry for bumping this old message, but it needed to be said)

When you get the dialogue asking about what mode you want to play, you can click the check-box on asking it every time you load the game. ^_^

I guess Im an odd ball out. Ive been playing sims for several years also... since I was... 19, maybe? And when sims 2 came out, I got it and played the vanilla version for a while, then slowly started accumulating CC and mods, hacks, careers, skins and clothes... stuff, ya know.
I never have downloaded any custom body meshes... so Im fine with the sliders. Im not registering my game, and I will just play between vanilla 3 and built up 2 until people EVENTUALLY get thru the code. Have faith in the sims modders.... It may take some time but I thihnk it will be worth it.
If you dont wanna buy it untill then, thats your thing. I however will be getting it on release day.

I'm the same. I use CC, but I do not use any custom body meshes. I just don't like how freakish a lot of them look. So at the moment, I really don't mind the lack of custom bodies. I'm just loving that you can actually get pretty sims with the base game.

I also hate to double-post but I have some news on the 2-or-2-Sliders debate.

I bought the "The Sims 3: An Introduction" PC CD-ROM from Target and watched the Designer Walkthrough and they were showing two sliders: weight and fitness.

Generation 1: Episode 1 (Part 1)

Hello, I'm Abigail Adwoa. I had moved out of my parents' house (finally) and now I found myself in the desert of Strangetown, hoping to find a lover and raise a couple kids.

Well, the house isn't much but it's a start. Like I said, I'm hoping for a lover that will help me allow this house to grow along with the family. Wink

Well, one day after I moved, I was so bored. The TV I bought wasn't making me un-bored, same as the books or anything else.

So, as I was hungry, I got myself something to eat. Now, now, don't tell me that mac 'n' cheese isn't good for you, because it's still good for your soul. Wink

Well, I got online and decided to just IM someone for the fun of it. Well, what I didn't know at the time was that I was going to meet my future lover and father of my children, Abjeheet(sp?)* Cho. We would talk for a while, him with his sometimes-lame jokes, me with my sometimes-lame comebacks. But, those sometimes-lame jokes just made my heart flutter and pitter-patter for some weird reason. (They usually aren't supposed to do that!)

I would daydream about him in bed.

I knew I had to try and get him off my mind but it was hard.

Hell, I'd even dream about him! I knew I had to meet him fast, before it was too late.

So after finally finding a job, I called him up and invited him over.

After talking to him for a while, I asked him to move in. He, of course, said yes. And after a while of flirting, we ended up falling in love.

Now, in our new life together, we'll cuddle together, and eat together before he has to go to work. Well, we'll have to see where our live together leads us. Hopefully some kids before we die.

End of Part I

Now some Mayo notes:

I will get some more (including part two) done sometime this week.

*((I never knew how to spell this name and never checked during gameplay, so sorry. XD))

Okay, I'm not sure whether the meshes are included when making a sim in bodyshop (and after putting it as a sims2pack) so I included what are included in the pictures I played around with on PS. ^^,,

(BTW, you're going to have to add the glasses in when you download her and get her in your game. I forgot to add them before packaging Mayo here. Go for the ones with black frames, like in the pictures)

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it!  To ma. and kittenwitten, I suggest that you use Sims2Clean Installer to download if you don't have all EP's.  I don't know this for sure, but I have gotten comments for others who use the installer, they are missing the items from EP's they don't own, but was able to get the structure.  The installer is located at ModTheSims2.com.:-P :happy8:

But I also have a mac, will this clean installer work for macs too?

Yeah, I'm wondering this too.

Will it work if you only have Uni and Nightlife?
