My man, DocFX. Haven't seen you in a while. You're welcome by the way, hope you enjoy them.

By the way, has the Meshmall found a new site yet? I miss that place.

You're welcome too!, nice to see your stuff on here now - will we ever see some more 'D.O.M.E' projects?, I've got a neighbourhood over run with Aliens & Vampyres!. Cheesy

As to 'Meshmall' - I'm still waiting (email etc.) to hear myself, I hope they haven't disappeared for good. Sad

Catch ya later Youth!. Wink

Oh Boy!, what have you done now? - this has to be one of the worst cases of "P.D.A" I've seen in a long time... :O

Relax!, that's "Pretty Darn Amazing" (or very similar) - reminds me of 'Cadaver' [Bitmap Brothers c.1989-90] from the good ol'CBM Amiga/Atari ST days {Downloads} cheers Youth! - brilliant work as always. Cheesy Smiley Wink

Many thanks... Wink

This would be because you have Inteenimater in your game.  Teens on residential property at Uni will not age to YA in order to allow Uni families.  Using the telephone to move to college or moving into a dorm first will keep everything straight.

Strange?, yes I have the new version of 'InTeenimater' in one of my other game folders - but not this one!, this is a new 'Factory Default' folder created by the re-installation of Seasons... :O

But thanks for the tip, I'll double-check this new folder and make sure that none of the new Sims I've imported have the body-clock in their inventories.

Cheers!. Cheesy

57  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Sims 2 Seasons - Patch #2 Released 6.11.07 on: August 01, 2007, 05:15:36 am
...If at first you don't succeed [*whack it with a chuffin' big hammer?*] try, try again!.

Patch now installed, and I've noticed these great un-documented features (some old friends & new) included - free of charge... Wink

a) Kids still levitate if someone gets abducted by Aliens.
b) *Teens not changing into YA, unless at a Dorm - rather than a house in Uni (see note).
c) Game continues by itself (again at Uni) despite being in Buy or Build mode.
d) Game now crashes on exit.

Oh Boy!, and this was in a brand new/patched Neighbourhood!. Sad

To be continued?... :O

Note:- On problem *b) - my sincere thanks to Eric for the amazing & truly essential 'InSimenator' and the option to get around this annoying bug!. Smiley Cheesy Smiley

59  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Has anyone had problems starting the game after the second seasons patch. on: July 30, 2007, 07:04:33 pm
Yep!, I have problems with the cache files too - especially 'Groups.cache' if you're in & out of Bodyshop, and the game itself a lot - this is the one that seems to corrupt the most. So make a back-up!, it'll save ya a lot of time - not having to re-install the game and all your packs again!. Wink

I find simply renaming it to 'oldGroups.cache' so that the game ignores it & creates a new one is quite useful - just in case there's a problem with the new content, and your game crashes on exit!... :O
60  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Sims 2 Seasons - Patch #2 Released 6.11.07 on: July 30, 2007, 06:14:25 pm
Yep!, exactly the same problems as 'RitoruBushi' & 'Bev in NY' - I've also tried the 2nd EA/Maxis patch (1.7.0.158 update), every time it gets to that first file and then it geeks!, telling me to uninstall Seasons and try again - very professional I must say... Sad

Prior to that I'd installed 'H&M Fashion Stuff' without any problems! - gone back to 1.7.0.151 just goes to show, if it ain't broke!. Cheesy

Maybe I'll try again, when I'm on Holiday!... Wink
