A Safe Haven / General Discussion / Re: What are you currently doing (besides being here)?

Yeah, shouldn't they have removed it from the security box BEFORE you left the store? I had this with a DS game once. They forgot to remove the magnetic security tab which sealed the box and I didn't notice until I got home. I had to prize it off with a butter knife.
Did you get it sorted in the end?

The Sims 3 / Pudding Improvements / Pet Relationship Icon Replacements
|
on: November 13, 2011, 04:40:33 pm

This file will replace the overly cartoony relationship headline icons for pets with ones more inkeeping with the existing Sim relationship headline icons. The new icons are based on the old icons from The Sims 2 with an updated colour scheme to match that of The Sims 3.
The files that I have edited are; headline_Social_Pet (Instance 0x9dc0eccdeea5f0af) headline_Social_Sim (Instance 0x2a5cff1367ae13d9) Both are _IMG files from within DeltaBuild2.package so unless you have any other mod that alters these then there is nothing for them to conflict with.

The Sims 3 / Pudding Flavours / PLAIN 'Cortinas Festivas!' and 'Traditional Curtains' blinds
|
on: April 12, 2010, 01:06:14 pm
|
I was asked if I would be able to make a plain version of the base game blinds. I decided to have a go as I thought it would be something I would also like to see in my own game.
As a result I have now created plain versions of the Cortinas Festivas! blind and the Traditional Curtains blind.
They can be found in the decor section of the catalogue just in front of the originals as these cost slightly less, as seen in the screenshots. I figured they should be cheaper as there is no stenciled design.
They come in the four original designs, minus the stencil. I also modified the mesh slightly so that they will fit a greater range of windows without bleeding through the frames.
Please don't redistribute but feel free to link back to this thread.
It has the same number of polygons as the EA originals.
Thanks to; TSR Workshop, Milkshape, Wes H for the plugins, cmomoney at MTS for help with deleting the stencils.

Ok, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I had completely forgotten about this problem as I haven't played since. I think the problem was down to my own stupid fault. I never download the globals_pack file. I thought I already had it but I hadn't. I'll play again and see if that was the cause or not but I can't promise how soon that will be.

I believe this has broken the food in my game. I downloaded it from MTS yesterday and ran my game today with it in. I was playing a regular lot and it was not possible for my Sims to eat single servings prepared for themselves or to take plates from group servings. When they tried they would pull out a plate which would then vanish from their hand and they would 'jump' out of the action. Food taken from the fridge as leftovers was also affected in the same way. The only way they would successfully eat was if they prepared a group meal and served it for other Sims on the lot. The plates put on the table stayed and could be eaten.
I have all EPs installed and all SPs minus holiday and H&M stuff.
