166  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / no more missing party guests message on: January 16, 2007, 06:46:00 pm
Sorry to be such a bother. I'll try and find if any of the hacks I have are out of date or not.

...help...!
I mentioned before, in another of your threads, that this hack now seems to be causing problems in my game since I installed Pets but I can't find out why. When I have it installed my Sims can't invite people to parties because the action never completes unless the game is on triple speed and that is hit and miss.
I've used the hack conflict detector and it can't find anything wrong. I emptied all of the hacks then ran the game and the problem was gone. I slowly added them back in, checking each time, and the problem only came back when I installed this hack again. StopInvitingMeDowntown doesn't seem to work now either dispite you saying it's compatable.
Is there anything I can do or is the easiest solution just to stop using these?

I apologise Squinge. This problem still happens with OR without your hack.

I haven't but I shall do now. Your NoPartyPopup file is also causing problems in my game now for some reason. With it installed I can no longer complete a party invite unless I have the game on triple speed.

EDIT: I just ran the hack conflict detector and this is what I got:

Can this be updated for Pets at all? Since I've installed Pets I've started getting random Sims calling again.Sad

Excellent! One down... so many more to go. I got Pets so I'm finding the new versions of all the hacks I use.

At last! Finally I can put a stop to all those stranger Downtownies asking my sims, which they have never met, to go Downtown!

Squinge, the bottomless bottle IS a buyable object from the catalogue. I used to have it in my game.

Your mod may not get rid of it,i don't know yet.

By the sounds of things they haven't tested it in game yet.

So does this also mean that if you hire a nanny and both parents are out the nanny will be able to answer the phone instead of just staring at it and walking past?

Righto. Thanks for clearing that up. Smiley
177  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Fall out of love automatically when LTR is below 70 on: September 18, 2006, 05:10:06 pm
In that case I believe I shall be downloading this. Thanks!
Just one question now; what does "str" mean? I know that "ltr" is "life time relation(ship)" but not what the other stands for although I'm guessing it means the daily relationship?
178  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Fall out of love automatically when LTR is below 70 on: September 18, 2006, 01:43:01 pm
Does this mean that sims can't normally fall out of love on their own? I've never had two lovers' relationship fall low enough to find out.

Thanks. You've made me blush.

Ok this is my attempt at a self-sim. I made myself as a teen before and it was a good look-a-like but now that I'm at university I've made myself as an adult. (Plus I've lost the teen version) I suppose I should technically be a "young adult" though, never mind.
I only used original MAXIS content to make me so no CC here.
If you want to put me in your game then I am an aries but am more on the shy side and slightly sloppier than the MAXIS aries.
My turn-ons are brown hair and fitness and my turn off is stink. I am a knowledge sim.
Um... have fun.
Oh yeah and my real name is Alistair.
