BRILLIANTNESS! I have 4 that seem to think eating is their role in life, and nothing any of the sims tell them about it being wrong will stop them. They've scolded and scolded, and nothing has happened aside from them becoming enemies with their pets! It's annoying. This is probably the most useful thing, in that instance, I've downloaded in quite a while! Thanks Squinge!

Townies are typically generated at the rate of one per lot load, so it may take a long time before you have a full complement again.
As for the family issue, I'm out of ideas. If you could test with the shrub I'd appreciate it, but for now I'm not sure where to look. The family ID used in the painting and shrub is consistently and only used for downtownies in all cases I checked, so it ought not to be possible for them to end up in another family... Thanks! I was wondering why they didn't visit me anymore. I'm equally confused. That family only has three members and whenever I make a downtownie it goes up to as many as 10...very confusing. I may try if I get around to it (aka enough time). ^^  |

Does this also occur with the shrub? I've looked at the code and it should not work this way. I cannot reproduce it with either painting or shrub, either.
Looking at the code some more, it *might* occur if you do not actually HAVE downtownies. You must have Nightlife installed, and have at least one Downtown area associated with your 'hood. I haven't tried it with the shrub. I have all the EPs and FFS (but this was before I got FFS). I also have a neighbourhood for everything but Uni installed. I tried it more than once and each time they became part of the original family. Curiously enough, in the townies section I only have 7 townies including the three new ones. Would this be because I deleted all characters before I started it? Wouldn't it have regenerated all of them, not just 4? |

This is going to sound entirely ungrateful, but I'll go ahead anyway. You know I adore your work, right??
I have Inge's painting, not her shrub. In nearly EVERY lot, too!!
I really don't like the shrub because I have the staythingsshrub and I'd get them confused; that's why I got the painting.
Because I have nothing better to do than beg and be different, please could you do a version with the painting?? I'll even send you the painting if necessary...

On a much less ungrateful note, brilliant--what an excellent idea! I d/led your previous ofb_adoptteen package but I wanted this one so I took it out and put the noadoptionpool in. The thing is, I have 2 sims in my adoption pool that I really do want. Shall I take this out when I go to get them? Or can I use the teleporter to somehow find the two of them??
And I think the adoption memory hack is a brilliant idea, but is it only for the adoption pool version?

This is brilliant! I was using the hacked telescope and I haven't had a single pregnancy and only one abduction since NL. That was annoying, as I like getting alien babies. With the first set do they get pregnant every time they're abducted??
Males always get pregnant if they're abducted. Every single time. According to Maxis. ^^
EDIT: Ah, I didn't read all the posts. What's the likelihood they'll come back with less than 25 whatever it is??

EP4 = some hellish thing involving pets YAAAY!! Sorry, back to topic at hand. I think this is a cool idea, but I have no baby harassment and I will get the OFB InTeen when it comes out. Apparently there will be a fix between this and the InTeen, which is a great idea because I'm sure people would like to have both. I don't really think the no baby harassment does much. But still, I like having it, so is there a similar hack that this will comply with? |
