31  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Fun with Plant People on: May 08, 2007, 11:09:58 am
Yeah, my only problem with the plantsims is the short lifespan, I guess it balances with the no sleeping thing, but I feel a little bad that they don't have a childhood. Sad

I guess it's like those tomatoes in my garden where one does a kind of mutant budding thing off of another. LOL It happens rarely but it does happen. Was the second one a vegetable too. Smiley

Well, then there would be Broccoli, Beet, Cabbage, Dill, etc. I mean you COULD get all silly on it. You know...that sounds like fun!

There is a little icon in the corner of the screen in build mode that tells you just how crazy you are getting with your house. LOL I always watch the price rise with dismay, I cannot seem to build a house for less than 30,000 simoleans. Tongue I am very impressed by someone who can not only build one for so little, but also make it look so nice, no boxes here! Brava!

36  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Penguin? on: April 22, 2007, 12:30:55 pm
The penguin is like the skunk, a random event. However, if you build a snowman, it seems to up your chances for the penguin to appear.

Yes, very helpful! Saves me from having to buy a new monitor after I kick in the old one. Smiley

Well, you've been rescued, Squinge has made a "No Penguin" hack. This is why he is the King and we are merely thrals. Smiley

I always thought that Maxis was being just a bit TOO realistic with this bit. Thank you for letting my pregnant sims not have to suffer.

you know what i hate that kids don't come to the bus and it takes 3 sim hours or more i have 5 kids and it takes forever

Monica has a "Run to bus" hack that clears this problem, my wee ones scamper like mice on speed. Someone has a "Stop skilling and go to work/school" hack as well, I think it's twojeffs over at MATY, but my brain is un-caffeinated right now, so I am not certain. Tongue

Hacks fix most stupid! YAY!!!

MATY's Lotdebugger now has a "Smite" command....LOL You can recreate that one now.

Actually, you call up the Gardening Club and they sell you the plantsim cure potion. Or, you download Monica's computer, or the InSim, or MATY's FFSLotdebugger or...well, you get the idea. LOL
