So, I browsed through the threads and didn't see this problem. Sorry if this is a repeat.

I just bought AL and played it a couple times. Now, all of a sudden, the game won't load. I'll plop the disk in, click on the AL icon on my desktop, click play, and this message will pop up about ten seconds later. The message is blank except for a red circle with an 'X' in it. Below it, there's a button to click "Okay". So, I'll click "Okay" because there's nothing else to do, and the game won't load.

Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated. Thank you in advance fellow Simmers.

I installed Freetime and deleted all of my hacks. Except, most of my custom content isn't loading up in the game. The folders are still filled with stuff in the 'downloads' folder. Such things like clothing, hair, make-up, walls, and floors are still in the game. However, all of my furniture is gone. Therefore, I can't load any of my old houses since they're littered with custom content (or so I'm guessing that's the problem).

Any help would be much appreciated.

I got Freetime today and installed it. I took off all my hacks. The game loads perfectly fine to a neighborhood. I can even create a new Sim family. However, the game shuts down completely whenever I try to load a house. Any suggestions?

There is the site 'Pay Sites Should be Destroyed'. I was wondering if there was a site, like the one listed, that will allow you to download from The Sims Resource. Anyone know?

I have downloaded clothes in the past that now seem perfect for outside wear. Is there a way that I can modify the downloads that appear in casual wear to that of outdoor wear?

First off, I have all of the expansion packs and all of the stuff packs. I just bought 'H&M Stuff'. I installed it, and the game wouldn't load. It happened before when I was loading 'Celebration Stuff'. So I uninstalled 'Celebration' and 'Seasons'. I reinstalled 'Celebration' and then 'Seasons' and the game worked fine. So when the same thing happened with 'H&M', I tried to reverse the order like I did last time. Except this time, when I was reinstalling 'Seasons' this message came up:

A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'D:\TSBin\Sims2EP5.exe' from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installaion?

I kept pushing retry, but the message just kept coming up.

So expansion 5 is 'Pets', correct? So I took everything off until Pets which were: 'Celebration', 'H&M', 'Seasons', and 'Pets'. Then I started to reinstall everything. When I got to 'Seasons' the message popped up again. Any suggestions? Should I just uninstall everything and reinstall or is something else the matter?

I just got the Celebration Stuff Pack (I have all the past expansions and stuff packs as well). I ran it on my computer and installed it. When that was done, I tried loading the game to play; however, a message popped up and told me that I had to put in the 'Seasons' disk to run the game (I had Celebration in). So I put in the 'Seasons' disk and tried to load it. It freezes on the first loading screen at the same spot everytime - I get one blue loading bar at the bottom. So I decided to restart and try loading it with the 'Celebration' disk. It won't load at all with that disk in and won't load with 'Seasons'. Does anyone have suggestions because I really miss playing my game. Thanks in advance.

For some reason, when I go to hire a maid, nothing happens. I click on the phone, go to Services and click Maid and then nothing happens. My Sims just hang up the phone. Now, I did marry off quite a few maids. Are there only a limit amount of maids? If so, how do I get more?
