Have any mac users tried Bootcamp? And if so, does it work well? I am just sooooo discusted with Aspyr. I reinstall and put the patches in and play without problems for a few days or even a week and then go back to play and everything is messed up. Only shadows go on the lots when trying to put a house on. My families have disapeared from the game and the menu. It is just so frustrating to have a story and family going only to find them gone. I read somewhere that Aspyr had put a bug in the patch so we can no longer use CC, but don't know if this is true. If it is this is taking away our rights to play the game the way WE chose , not the way Aspyr tells us we can play. I WON'T play without my CC. It worked until I stupidly applied the Combo Patch and then all Hell broke loose. Then I reinstall without any patches, play for a while then the same problems occur. I am willing to try Bootcamp and use Xp on my mac just so I can actually play my game the way I want. I do have Sims 2 game and expansions up to BV for PC. I hope to get feedback from other mac users who are successfully using Bootcamp. Thank-you :smt120

I just bought a new Imac with intel core duo. The problem is some of my downloads are not showing up in the game. The hacks all show up but my hair, clothes, makeup and other files do not. Does anyone have a solution? Should I put them is another place other than the downloads? Aspyrs only solution is to use that **##@@ combo patch, which is a piece of @#**. With the combo patch NONE of my downloads show up in the game, so I reinstalled all without patches with the exception of Pets. I can't play without my favorite hair, clothes, and makeup!!! UGH!! My computer is G5 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 3 GB ram, ATI RadeonHD 2600Pro graphic card/256 MB ram. Aspyr said the games are not updated to intel so I hope someone out there knows how to make things work. Thanks for any help I can get. Vikki:smt120

Can anybody explain to me the purpose of the Teleport Folder in the Sims 2 Game?! I wrote to Aspyr and asked them and they coped out saying some mumbo-jumbo about 3rd party downloads and did not answer my question. When I install my downloads with package installer that is when they go here. There is over 800 download files in there!!! I'm not sure if they all show up in my game. Thanks so much for the link to the UnRarX download. I was getting frustrated because some of the downloads are in PC file form! This works Great!
