I'm wondering if there's a mod that prevents Sims from taking their food into another room to be near someone they like/love.  I don't know how I never had this problem until now, but recently my Sims love to take their food into the bathroom when their spouse is going to the bathroom while they cook.  It's just for the initial prep stage, then they cook it back at the stove in the kitchen and eat in the dining room no problem.  If there's a mod that prevents this "following" behavior I'd love to get it!

Everyone always talks about what they loved in old games and how excited they are for it to continue or how sad they are that it'll be gone.  But what about things we don't like?

For instance, I never liked the open world, story-progression part of Sims 3.  I micro-manage way too much and hated having to follow my Sims where ever they went, possibly meaning skipping back and forth over the entire town!  I'm happy to see there's a balance between open and sectioned in Sims 4 and can't wait to see how it plays.

I have a long ponytail that I absolutely love for guys, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work.  I'm thinking something may have happened to the mesh, but I don't know the name of the hairstyle.  It shows up when my sims change their appearance, but when I select it, another hairstyle shows up on their heads.

Here's a picture of the hair as it appears in the "appearance" window. 


Anyone recognize it?  I want to re-download the files and mesh and see if that helps.

So, in two households I've had dogs just stop eating for no reason.  One, I didn't do anything, just one day the dog stopped eating out of the bowl she'd been eating out for her whole life (puppy and a few days into adulthood).  The other dog, I tried giving him a new pet bowl and suddenly he stopped eating.  Tried replacing the bowls several times in both houses, didn't work.  Neither of them have ever eaten human food, so that's not the issue, and even after using InSIM to train them to eat pet food they still won't.  There's no option to eat or call them to eat.  I've tried commanding them to eat but nothing happens.
Anyone else had this happen?

Also, both of them are Corgis (I custom made the breed) - one full corgi and one half corgi/half a pre-made breed (I forget which).  They are finicky, but even cleaning and buying the most expensive bowls don't work.

I just made a Sim in BodyShop and now whenever I try to move him onto a lot, his face defaults to a really ugly Maxis face.  I've tried moving him alone and I'm going to try moving him into different types of lots right now.  Has anyone else had this happen before?  I have all the expansion packs, and if this doesn't work I'll probably try taking out custom content, even though I'm pretty sure the other sim I tried this with didn't have a problem.

I have every expansion pack + Teen Style Stuff and I just installed Ikea Stuff a few days ago and since then I have been unable to play.
My game freezes at one of two points:
1. On the neighborhood screen when I click on a house.  The Family Information box doesn't come up and my game freezes.
2. After I click "Enter House"  If the Family Info box does pop up, I can't enter a house because I can't get past clicking the enter household button without the game freezing.

The first seems to happen most often.
Could it be a CC glitch?  Maybe a hack?
Please help, I've tried many times to play with the same results and I'm at my wits' ends with it.

And next is Robt Kiev, my red-headed Japanese-Irishman.

He's married to Lotze with four children (if I said something else for Lotze don't mind it, this number is right).


Sable Avan is next, my French vampire.

Married to Nanashi with a couple kids.

She's a sports fanatic in my game, married to Gabir with two daughters.


We have Teryl Dryll next.

He's married to Wynn Dryll and they have five kids in my game right now.
I also spelled his name wrong on the package.


Tobias Windsor, one of the pretty-boys.

He's supposed to a dorky model but he more leans toward the former a lot of times.  (They had a dog in my old game and he named is Sirius)


Also included here is another Zaviay band member, Tristan Zaviay.

He's a blind bassist who they named the band after because he does vocals too.  Everyone else changed their last names to Zaviay when they were just getting into college so they could feel more like family.  And because they were the best of friends.


Then, one of the three sims I will call 'my baby' and not mean it to be my self sim's.
Tuathal Sabina.

He's a cross-dressing dark elf whose story is in my thread.  Father-mother of seven with Reijo.


Viki Tainan is another sports nut.

She's married to Lynda with five kids.

Wynn Dryll next.
Married to Teryl with five kids, she loves to dye her hair odd colors but blonde is her favorite.



Then, Yvain Janori

He is the manager of Zaviay and also plays piano every once in a while.  He is soon going to meet and marry Tristan.
He is extremely outgoing and I would not put it past him to walk around in skivvies or less 24/7.  He's also another of my 'babies'.


But this, this boy is my ultimate favorite, my true 'baby'
Zax Chedoce.

He's married to Devin, currently father of triplets.
But he also likes to be pregnant so I'm expecting many more like last time.



And we are done!

Next shall be Jas Bellefleur-Smiton.  Gio's older brother, husband of Hill, he is one of my most outgoing, fun-loving sims.


And then, we move on to Jeri Tylerr.  Along with Axella she's a mother of one, used to be two because of an alien abduction, but still.


Then after her we have one of my favorites (again) Lotze Kiev.
He's very shy, doesn't like meeting new people, and is married to Robt with I think four kids.

He loves being pregnant for some reason.


Next is Lynda Tainan.
She's a political figure in my game, with five kids.



Anyway, apologies.
Next, we move on to Mat Bellefleur.  Married to Gio, they have six kids at the moment and are one of my favorite families.


Then Nanashi Avan, the first 'real' elf I ever made.
He's married to a French vampire named Sable and they have I believe one or two children at this point.



And then Nikolai Edon, my Russian elf, married to Aaren with three kids.

He's not the nicest, but he is very outgoing.

We also have Olivier Zaviay.

She's guitarist for the band Zaviay (not named after her).  And she'll be getting married to Raven Zaviay sometime soon.


And, here's Raven Zaviay!

He's drummer for the same band as Olivier (also, not named after him).  They're at college now.

Edouard Muttect, my most pierced sim, is Spanish and married to an Italian-French woman named Elisabetta.  I believe they currently have six children.

I think when I first made her I was thinking of a stern librarian, but she's a lot more fun-loving than I expected.
Well, she better be with all those kids!




Then, we go on to another of my favorites, Farrow Karachi.
He and Anaise are the parents of four, and should soon become grandparents.




After Farrow we have Gabir Racine.
He was actually made as a comparison of custom content vs no custom content and he just ended up being put in game.

A beautiful albino Japanese lady with incredibly low self-esteem.

He's easily amused and easy-going.

He's a a father in my game, but I think right now it's only one.  He's married to Rey Tirann in my game.

Yeah, I don't know why I'm doing this but I know some people like my sims from my Corrin County town, so I'm going to upload them here.

Basic info: I used SimPE to package these guys up and they come (according to CleanInstaller) as just the sim.  I have no idea how they'll appear in your game and I feel terrible for that.  My exprience, the sims appeared in BodyShop with the parts that I had on that computer (a different one than I packaged them on).  So, if I had their hairstyle and the mesh, the hair showed up.  If not, then they were bald.  Same with clothes, skintones, accessories, etc.  So I hate to say I can't tell you what they should all have, but they should still work regardless.

Let's get started, shall we?  Begin with the A's.

Aaren Edon.

In my game, she's a vampire who doesn't like to do domestic chores even though she should be used to them by now with three children with her husband Nikolai Edon.


That's how she should look if you have all her parts I'm pretty sure.

Next, we have Amato Copley.

In my game he's an Alien in the law enforcement career track who has six children with his hubby Arkady Copley.



Take good care of him, please!  He's one of my favorites.

Anaise Karachi anyone?

In my game, she's a blind mother of four with her husband Farrow Karachi.  She used to be a blind grandmother of probably six or seven kids at least, not including her adoptive granddaughter Kaley.



Next would be Andrea Lusaka, but he's already up, here.
He looks like this as an adult.



But, here, we have Anji Kazuku!  In my game he's a pretty vain vampire who has five kids with his husband Dei.


Let's see, next we have...
Arkadios Copley.

In my game, he's a family-oriented fey who, with husband Amato, has six children.  They used to have at least eight or nine grandchildren too in my old game.

He's one of my favorites too.

Last A name.
Axella Tylerr.
She's some sort of water demon in my game, well, according to her skin tone anyway.  She acts completely normal and has a daughter with her wife Jeri.



Skip straight over B and C because no sims have those letters to start their names.
Instead, Dei Kazuku is next.  A shy father of five with Anji.




Devin Chedoce, one of my few manly sims, is next.



I don't know about now, but in my old game he and Zax Chedoce were the parents of...eight children?  Triplets, twins, quads.  Nope! Nine.

Now that I've packaged up all my lots I'm thinking of something.

Are those files automatically put into the neighborhoods folder?  Or are they considered 'downloads'?

-I'm testing something right now.  If it works I'll edit this post/delete it if I can figure out how to do that.

It's not technically Sims help, but it's diretly related to the Sims.

I followed this tutorial for deleting sims, but I got halfway through and am now stuck.
I asked on the thread but as of yet have not received an answer.

I prepped a bunch of Sims for deletion and after downloading SimPE I had no idea where to find the options needed.  I tried using the same version as Pescado but it wouldn't work on my computer.
I then found an option in SimPE that seemed like it might work.

Under Neighborhoods, I found 'Family Information' and when a household is selected it displays people there, the money, number of family friends, etc.
Near the top there is a key that says 'delete' so I deleted all EAxian families/groups.  I also did this for sims who had not been 'prepped for delete' in a second neighborhood.

So now my two questions:
1. Will this work?  Is my game safe from gradual implosion if I do this?
2. If not, can someone who understand SimPE dumb down this tutorial for me or even possibly help me step-by-step via a messenger such as Yahoo?

My mom's game has very little custom content in it (just a few annoyance hacks I got for her, the InSIM plus triplets/quads) and as the game is starting up it crashes.
I've removed the downloads folder and it actually made it further with that folder in than out.

The opening video is skipped and the last time I tried I was told to insert the CD when it was already in.

Here are the hacks: Anti-redundancy, Anti-weather reactions, AutoYak, Fire mod, InSIM 2.7 SIM, LTW Variety, Phonehack and phone hack controller, Triplets and Quads, Uni LTW Sense, Want Sanity.

She designated me to figure out what's wrong but I have no idea.

EDIT: I just tried installing Seasons and the load made it about halfway then crashed.  Removing the neighborhoods folder after installation had the same results.
We're thinking of uninstalling then re-installing the game.

I have my "Written and Copyrighted By..." series and I still have maybe ten stories to write before I finish a single generation of the family.  But I've run out of ideas to write about for each person.
If anyone can give me a rational, probable and possible plot ideas?
I had the idea of the next one getting kidnapped but I'm sure it would be too difficult for me to write.

Example if you don't want to read/skim the stories are double teen pregnancies and family issues; model with job and a few personal issues; college student who becomes a single parent.

One sim of mine will crash a lot, but none of the other three will.
They live in a dorm on campus and I have tried moving them out and in again (into a new dorm after destroying the old one) but it happened again.
I thought it was something to with using the InSIM education adjuster despite no other sims crashing while using it.  But it just now crashed when the object wasn't even spawned on the lot.

This has happened every time I go into the lot and I need to know what is wrong.  I'll try playing with 'Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' to see if I get an error log and if I do I'll come back to edit it in.


ETA: Another crash, no error log.
The game seems to crash either when I tell her to do something or when I click on her from another sim.

Please help me!
