Thank you very much for telling me how to do that.  Happilly, I do not have any of these files.  I do, however, have a lot of huge hair, skintone, and object recolor files. I'm off to clean those out.  Thanks again.  Smiley

I apologize for asking a stupid question:  How do you open a file in SimsPE?  I know how to use the Clean Installer and Delphy's organizer, but the only thing I know how to do with SimsPe is open Sims in the Sims Browswer.

8  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Hotel/Restaraunt Issue on: October 14, 2007, 02:56:29 pm
I'm having a related issue.  In my game, one playable sim can be served at a BV lot resturaunt.  If another playable sim asks the hostess for a table, it is told that there is no tables available, they must come back!
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Moving Downtown and OFB Lots on: October 14, 2007, 02:42:31 pm
I have just built a new downtown for my neighborhood, and I want to do away with the default downtown.  This is an established hood, about a year old.  I know that I cannot package and move residential homes, but it won't hurt anything to package and move my favorite community lots from the default downtown and Bluewater Village, will it?  I want to move several of the Maxian-lots, then delete the default Downtown and just use my creation. Is this possible?

13  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / List your Bon Vonyage bugs and compatabilty issues on: September 17, 2007, 01:12:11 pm
Here's a new one, I think. . .it's happened twice to me so far, and I haven't seen it mentioned (but might have missed it, sorry)

If I send a family home early, they go in their house, then turn around and leave again, going back to the same hotel they just left.  Their Vacation Time Remaining Bar is full, they can't check into the hotel, and they can't go back home.  (They will dial the number for the shuttle service and then hang the phone up and walk away.)
14  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Wanna dance? on: September 16, 2007, 12:33:03 pm
You have to catch the locals dancing and join them.  I had one catch a cute local island-guy doing the hula, and pretty soon the whole family joined in.  They all got that memory.  It was really cute to see the little girl hulaing (is that a word?).  Wink
15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / ITS NOT WORTH IT! on: September 16, 2007, 12:30:25 pm
Quote from: Deviancy;937529
There's a solution but it requires an ulcer Wink. Actually it's just about boycotting companies that create products that are half assed. THousands of parents should be outside of Mattel's company protesting as well as boycotting their toys. Mattel released a statement claiming they're going to be good now, but the toys have had lead in them for nearly 20 years. And you know whats sad? I mean what got lead in the toys and mercury in the fish and drugs in the cows. Then we wonder why there's been a hike in children born with autism. If we had a government that worked, Mattel would have been shut down.

Yep, I totally agree with you, Deviancy.  (Sorry I misspelled your name in my 1st post, btw).  When I went on Mattel's website to see how many of my kids toys were covered under the recall, it told me that anything I had bought before, like, May, was safe.  WTF?  Did they suddenly change paint on all these toys?  No!  I believe that they just want to keep the actual numbers of recalled toys down.  I went ahead and threw out about 20 toys. .. most of them were the "Cars" figures, "Dora" and "Diego" figures, "Polly Pocket" , and Barbie's pets. I protect my kids fiercely, and I will never take a chance on their health.  I want to take those toys I through out and shove them up the CEO of Mattel's neither-regions.

Okay, sorry for the rant, we're wayyyyy off topic now.
