Whew....you guys have made points i never would have dreamed of asking. Yet they all show what i suspected all along. SIMS 2 was/is a serious time investment for many. SIMS 3 needs to improve upon an already great game yet as this post shows....The PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!:lurk:
Ok, I'm just gonna say this... ...I AIN'T buying The Sims 3!!! I AIN'T waisting mah cash on some game that's already been extended to its max as a GAME! I think I've become attatched to Sims2 too much and I AIN'T saying goodbye to it!!!

Who ever said anything about spending money :wink: I think Sim3 should fix alot of the flaws mentioned in previous posts. Of course Sims 2 wil always be a classic :worship:
I see generally It's the faster video memory (and amount) that holds back Sims2 . I've played it on min spec machines....with Good Video Cards.
eg. 888Mhz CPU 512 RAM and Geforce 4 (128 Mb Video mem) and it played even faster than my "rig".....obviously Lack of Custom content on the experimentation "rig" is a major factor.
Hmmm.....Integrated graphics will always suck ....unless it is a high end Graphic/Gaming "rig"
