First off.....many, MANY thanks to SynapticSim, who got this section opened for others who love comics almost as much as he does, wanting to share their desire to see Sims 2 versions of their favorite comic characters made available.

Anyway, here is my first offering. I know, I know.....I did the gold recolor skintone. But this is my first Sim offered up for the community.

Pyreus Kryl, also known as the Firelord, is a former herald of Galactus, who was chosen as herald like the Silver Surfer, but turned away from his Cosmic master, and third in the line of heralds to have served Galactus after the Silver Surfer and Airwalker. Also a former resident of the world of Xandar, Firelord is now found wandering the cosmos searching for adventure. His search for something to do has now brought him to Sim City.

(Oh ack, that description sucked. Personal note.....find time to learn how to make better descriptions for these.)

The bad news: Firelord's hair is not actually on fire.
The good news: I've been told that Eric is going to work on his Sims Effects package to make the effects able to be specified where they show up on a Sim. Then We'll get to see his head burn as intended.

I made a go at making a pair of eyes with the depth of the universe within them.

Actually, I got the idea to make these from SynapticSim's Silver Surfer, since the character possesses an ability called cosmic awareness, or the ability to see/feel far flung portions of the universe.

Please be advised these eyes do not impart this ability in your Sims, but they look cool in the sockets, just the same.

There are 2 files here. The first is an attempt to place a star field of vision, the second a nova burst of light from a dying star.

The basis behind this endeavor is a start on my way to making Sims of the Heralds of Galactus from Marvel comics. The female in the group is the base for Nova, although I suspect it will be a while longer until I can find out how to make the fiery hair that comic character sports.

Otherwise, I hope you folks enjoy the skintone as much as I've enjoyed recoloring it. Let me know if you run into any problems with it. I also must tell you that reflectiveness must be enabled in your game to get the full effect of the skintone, the same as the original shiny chrome skintone of the original.

A wild request, to be certain. But how about a skintone for the slim bodybuilder that has a mirror polish? One that would work like a mirror in the game?

Can it be done? I was thinking that since there was a slimmer bodybuilder, why not really go the other way? I mean a BIG some b*tch*n monster male mesh. Take that.....and stretch the skeleton by about 1.10, and add the existing bodybuilder green skin tone, and you have an Incredible Hulk.

That....then instead of ol' greenskin....you apply the hairy bodybuilder skintone.....and then you get an unarmored Cain Marko (sp?)....you get the point, I think. (Say.....how about that Juggernaut while I'm wishing here anyway? :grin: )
