open your cheat box and try type in
showHeadlines on I thought that only toggled the display of the speech/thought bubbles?

I noticed awhile ago that I am missing any and all text notifications (job promotions, school/work notifications etc). I can hear the sound as if they have appeared, but they are no where on the screen.
Previously I ignored it as a minor annoyance, but it has been bothering me more recently and so I'm searching for a solution.
What I am wondering is: has anyone else had this problem? Or is there any mod/bug that is known to cause this?
I was trying to check out the official TS2 website to see what the patches fix, but my internet trips out every time I try to load the pages, so I couldn't find out if this is a common bug that has been 'fixed' by one of the patches.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I am currently cleaning out my neighbourhood template folders and I was curious about the University templates (U001, U002, U003) - I am only planning on attaching one and thinking about using a cleaned up template rather than an empty one so that I do not have to create new YA (Yes I know I am being rather lazy)
So, the question is: Which template corresponds to each university?
My guess is: U001 = Sim State University; U002 = La Fiesta Tech; U003 = Academie Le Tour
I just want to make sure, because like I said, I only want to add one university and I want to make sure it's the right one.
On another note: I wasn't sure if this is the right forum for this thread, but I am guessing it is alright to post here since there is no specific University sub-forum. Unless of course, I am completely stupidly blind and have missed it?

Her hair is different from the picture shown (its a donation hair from RaonSims - femalehair43 [Link] which would really be preferred); she's packaged with RaonSims femalehair42 [Link]
She's also wearing different clothes than the picture; she's packaged in maxis clothes (I think it might be from the H&M pack though) |

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Bodyshop & Game Crashing

Okay so the problem is with both Bodyshop and the Sims 2 game. Both load and work fine normally, however, when searching through the adult female clothing files both Bodyshop and the Sims 2 crash.
I'm guessing it is a particular clothing mesh/recolor, what I am posting about is if anyone else has had a similar problem and can tell me which clothing item it was.
I know I can search through my clothing downloads and find the problematic piece, but I have literally a gig of clothing downloads so it is no easy task. Any help would be much appreciated.
Oh, I have all EPs and all Stuff Packs installed... if that helps.

Just thought I'd post saying that I haven't *touch wood* had that experience; I don't have a custom CAS; and all of my installed hacks have been updated for seasons. I have all games installed; pets wasn't patched and I have the happy holiday stuff pack.
Don't know if this will help or not.

Is it possible to delete the maxis made characters from bodyshop/CAS? Is it even safe to do so?
I'm creating a clean custom hood and I'm planning on creating custom townies (32 sims), downtownies (8 sims) & NPCs with bodyshop - that leads to quite a few sims in the sim-bin. So I'd really like to delete the maxis ones.

Resident Creators / EP3 Mods / EP3:No need for gardening on community lots

I was wondering about the compatibility with TwoJeffs' perfectplants -
I found that by using that mod alone, I still needed to garden on community lots. I've used both mods for awhile and I haven't had any problems, but a hack conflict scan showed that there could be a possible conflict (I used Paladins hack conflict detection utility)
Like I said, I haven't had any problems (touch wood) but I was wondering if anyone else had?

She's by far my favorite sim... I adore her parents so that's probably why... She's actually in a contest [A Baby Story] right now... lol she's only just made her appearance though.
