i am not positive as to whether this would be considered a gameplay or a technical issue......

i first removed all hacks and installed the expansion pack. the game installed with no problem, loaded, but froze almost immediately after entering a lot and playing a sim.

as it is entirely possible i have made odd changes in places i'd forgotten about, and as i am not opposed to starting completely over, i saved all my downloads, etc., uninstalled all expansion packs and the base game and re-installed everything. this has worked beautifully in the past.

between installations i did some reading and discovered that there was a patch for EP6, so that was installed immediately after re-installing the base game and all EP's, including bon voyage.

the problem remains the same. the game loads and all is well until i enter a lot and attempt to play a sim. not only does the game freeze, it locks up my entire computer. i'm having to cut the power to get out of the game at all. i have tried waiting up to 20 minutes in case the problem was ungodly lag, but it seems it isn't. either that or it's *really* ungodly. *sigh*

i am using the nvidia beta driver, which has improved the blue screen crash issue considerably, but not eliminated it. i don't know whether my card would be an issue here or not.

in any case, i apologize for the length of this post. i am trying to give you information that is as complete as possible in the hopes that somebody can help with this. odds are, i'm not the only one having this problem.

ok, i can already see this one coming, so here we go......
 
there are a number of heroine skins out there. bren and i used this one because it was the one warlokk used in his original release and because meremale gave us permission. the fact that the skin was used with warlokk's original project allows for the teen heroine to be painlessly added to the largest number of peoples games with a minimum of drama as almost everyone using the heroine bodyshhape will have this skin.
 
please let this skin file overwrite the one already in your game. (save a copy of the original skin in case you encounter problems. you shouldn't, but you never know) this will add the teen heroine shape to your game without screwing up any currently existing adult heroines. any teens using the meremale skin will then automatically have the teen heroine shape. your teen heroines will age into adult heroines.
 
for the convenience of anyone using the heroine bodyshape for the first time, and because warlokk is a generous guy, his adult heroine meshes are included in the download file above. if you already have heroines in your game, you should only need to add the teen meshes and the skintone file.
 
finally, there are a number of other excellent heroine skintones out there. we have permission to use this one, so i won't be adding the new shape to the other skintones. if you would like to add the new shape to heroine skintones you already have, for personal use in your own game,  there is an excellent tutorial by marvine here:

finally, if any skintone creators out there would like to add my teen meshes to their skintone, it is fine with me.  please link back here for the mesh.  as it makes little sense to have the teen meshes without the adult ones as well, you will need separate permission from warlokk to use those.  anyone who has appropriate permission from one of the original creators of the other skintones, and from warlokk, is free to add them for posting as well.  in short:  i'm easy, but absolutely no altering or using of anyone else's work involving my meshes for posting anywhere without the express permission of the original creator.

qtpi love - these were made using all expansion packs up to and including seasons. (but no stuff packs) this is likely the problem. it is my understanding that it was the pets ep that caused this issue with meshes.  presumably, installing pets should solve it.  bren and i try to make things that can be used by most people.  however, in this case......installing the seasons ep caused massive problems for me that resluted in my operating system having to be re-installed.  i lost a *ton* of stuff. (mostly because i'm a moron and screwed up my saving).  in light of that i just wasn't about to uninstall pets and seasons to do this project.  i'm very sorry this is causing problems for you.
 
ruiz aw & bloom - thanks to the generosity of warlokk and meremale, both of whom have given permission for us to add the teen meshes to their existing heroine skin, yes the teen and adult will be linked to that one skintone, and yes the teen heroine will become an adult heroine. bren should be posting the skin very soon.
 
those who have the existing meremale skin should just let the one we'll be posting overwrite the one already in your game. this will painlessly add the teen shape and won't screw up any existing heroine adults. existing female teens using the meremale skin should instantly be given the new heroine teen body shape.
 
there are a few more things to say about the skin, and i'll be posting those in the skin thread.

i have a sub folder overflowing with your work.  glad to have something out that you like!  thanks for letting us know.

the polycount shouldn't be a whole lot differtent than the maxis mesh. i did use a different piece for the breast portion, but that was an adaptation of one of warlokk's meshes, so again, shouldn't be stupid high.
 
honestly, i just try to do what i think will look the best and don't look too closely at poly counts.  
 
 
this file includes two meshes and four re-colors.  the 3MB is the total for all.

thanks to you bren for indulging my 'queen of hearts' request.  after all the work you've done at my request, the mesh was the least i could do.  and as you know, i always like to do the least i can do, lol.

fabulous as usual.  you have one of my biggest sub-folders, lol.  is there any chance of haveing this adapted for males?  or is that more a question for coris as it probably involves fiddling with the mesh?

well then, it would appear that the no-nipples have it!

Bloom - i just double checked my folders.  i have only the Millajv2 meshes that i used as a base for all my milla variations, so this also is a variation of those.  the mesh for this is included in bren's .rar (i know, duh) and personally i don't find the two versions to be radically different, particulary after the nipples are removed (ouch!)  imho, this should play side by side with the other milla meshes and not look odd.  but you'll need the new mesh. (duh, again)

beautiful work!  just to double check as i had a bit of a hard time telling from the pics (i do NOT need reading glasses!  at least that i'll admit to... >_<)  is Al014 the proper mesh for the first dress?
