I've been deleting my custom content in game, hairs and clothes, but I'm sure Maxis doesn't delete the meshes to go with them, so I know I've got a bunch of abandoned meshes I no longer require in my downloads, but no matter how organized they are, I couldn't tell which goes with which to delete them. :smt120

I've heard that Delphy's Download Organizer and Sims2Pack Clean Installer can do these things, but the problem is I tried to run both of them yesterday, following all the instructions, and they give me an error. I know I have the NET Framework required to run them both, but still they won't run.

Is there another way to figure out which meshes I don't need anymore? I'm trying to clean out my downloads so my game will run faster, but leaving all these meshes in there that I'm not using I'm sure is not going to help.

Is there a way to delete a custom neighborhood I made, but keep the Sims from it? I've got so many neighborhoods I never use, but I'd hate to see the Sims I made go.

I was thinking of packaging the occupied lots, but does that actually carry them over to all neighborhoods to use once I delete the one they were originally in?

Is there a way to get rid of the closet thats in all the apartments? I hate it. It never works properly for me, and it always seems to be in the way of the bathroom. I'd much rather be able to click on my bathtub without moving the camera than have this closet there. :smt120

I've tried moveobjects, and that doesn't work to get rid of it.

Was wondering if anybody knows if there are new careers in Apartment Life?

I thought I read this was possible, but my female Sim doesn't have the option to get pregnant by the male Servo in any way that I can find. Is my InSim wonky, or is there another way I have to do this? The strange thing is, she can get impregnated by the NPC Robots (CleanBot, HyrdoBot...) on the lot, but not the Servo. LOL ...

What's going on here? I really want her to have a baby by the Servo, because I've decided that it would be fun to watch the outcome.


EDIT: Nevermind, it seems to work now. I tried to use the InSim to get her pregnant, it wouldn't show him as listed as an option, then I powered him down and up again, and now it shows. I guess it was just a bit of a small glitch at the moment.

My Sim toddler just woke up, and crawled out of the crib on his own.

I looked through my hack folder, and didn't see anything I'd downloaded that would make the kid do that, and I'm kind of wondering what the heck just happened? I don't remember downloading something to do that, but I admit I don't have the best memory.

Is there a hack for such a thing or is my Sim's kid a complete genius? LOL.

So, I've had FreeTime since it came out, but I've never used the Tinker option on any of my Sims stuff yet, as I'm not sure what it exactly does. Does it make any significant change, does it break my objects?

I'll admit right off I don't know much about how the genetics work in Sims, I kind of just figured it was random, but it's getting ridiculous now ... None of the Sims born in game have ever looked anything like their mothers, they are always almost exact replicas of their fathers.

Can someone explain how the genetics work in Sims, or can someone tell me a way around them looking like their fathers all the time?

I have SimPE, so if there's a way to change genetics in there, that'd be great.

Do these two games run separate, or is Castaway Stories like an expansion pack and just adds on?

I'm wondering if it will mess with any of my files on Sims 2, or if it'll just make it's own and be like a whole different game being installed.

Even if it takes a hack to do, that's fine. I was just wondering if there was a way I could do this. I want to go to the CAS screen, make two teens, nothing more, and have that be okay. Is there a way I can do that?

Or, if not, is there a way I could make an adult with them, but have the adult move out of the house once they've moved in?

I got a Servo, set everything up with it, and it didn't do anything unless I directed it to.

So I'm wondering ... no matter what, does it work just like a Sim if I have the Free Will option turned off?

And is there a way to override that with a hack or mod, something?

While I'm at it looking for a way to get more chance cards, is there a way to stop those annoying "Are we still friends?" phone calls that keep my Sims phones ringing all day long and I have to time everything JUSSSST right when my Sims actually have to make a phone call??

I love those little pop-up messages my Sims get at work. In fact I think I only send my Sims to work on the off chance I'll get one of them.

Is there a mod/hack/way that I could get more of them than the game usually puts out??

Is there a way to make a Sim taller than another Sim? And is there a way to reverse the process if I do?
