Ive seen pictures with diagonal furniture in them but I've never figured out how to do that myself. Can anyone tell me?

"boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true", I believe. Then use the two arrow keys besides the M on your keyboard to rotate the objects as such.

boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true

false to turn it off

like CynaraBlade said, use < and > to rotate.

I guess it doesn't matter if you type it all in lowercase, though. Personally, I don't use the boolprop cheat for diagonal rotation of objects as I have a patch called the "See Them" patch; in addition to removing the censor blur, it also has options for rotating the furniture diagonally, placing objects out of grid and calling up the debug menu.

It needs University. Here is a link to all the known Maxis cheats and which EPs are needed click here . My game is case sensitive and only works if I type the cheat as follows: to bring up cheat window hold down together Ctrl + Shift + C then type
boolProp Allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true/false. I also find move_objects on and boolProp SnapObjectsToGrid true/false are also helpful when using the cheat. Cheesy

I use shorthand cheat codes (aka userstartup cheats) its a notepad file you put in the configurations (My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Config) folder where you can use aliases for the longer cheats...

As in I just type "snapon/off" "moveon/off" etc, and the 45 degree-cheat is permanently activated.  Then just remove the ones you don't want anymore.

Will See Them let you build in the two squares on each side of the lot?

I think Maxis got too paranoid... I can see not letting you build in the one right on the edge... but why TWO?  I'd love to build row houses on 1 square wide lots, but 6 squares is just too tiny!
