Is there any Hack to put a parking lot next to the apartment so that they can have cars? I still haven't figured out how to make my sims to walk anywhere?

If you want your Sims to walk somewhere, click on your active Sim and choose "Walk to Lot..."

You can try and get them to park on the street-- that's what I've been doing since I figured it out.

Try the tutorial that is in photo album form and combine it with the codes which I had provided so it'd work with your apartments

I been playing with this for hours. I can't seem to get the drive way to turn in the direction of the street.  It said remove or replace the highlighted area.  I might be a little on the slow side but I dont get it. Please help. I miss my Sims driving

Simply enter the codes that were provided and follow the tutorial. Where it says remove the highlighted tile, the tile itself is not highlighted in the game. It was highlighted to show which tile you are to replace. In order to replace it go to Build Mode and then select the floors and select any tile. Replace the tile that the highlighted tile in the picture corresponds with.

It might be better to replace the tile taken out with the default sidewalk tile, otherwise you wouldn't be able to put in a normal driveway later on, as it'd still turn sideways. Here's a tutorial that has that info.
