I have all of the EPs and stuff packs.  I did a search, so I don't believe that this is a duplicate request, if it is, I apologize in advance, and will take my lashings without complaint.  Was wondering if a mod could be created for the lamp to be dropped off sooner than the 14th day.  Seems like it takes forever to roll around, especially since I rotate playing all of my families.  How much sooner?  Two days or three days?  Thanks in advance for the consideration.

Hmm, I've seen a hack that shortens the duration, but now for the life of me I can't find it. In the mean time though, you can force the Gypsy to deliver the lamp whenever you wish by using the testing cheats.

(boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true)

Shift-click on the mailbox, choose *other (I believe) and choose 'Force Genie Delivery'. I'm not sure of the exact wording, but it's pretty obvious when you see it. Within an hour or two, the old crone will drop off your lamp and skulk away again. You'll even get the memory. Best of all, you can do it as often as you want.

*grabs her cat-o-nine-tails* Now, about that whipping...Tongue

Hmm, I'm slacking with my boolprop cheats because I wasn't aware that there was a cheat for that.  Thank ya kindly!  (Bottom lip quiver) I...I really...don't...don't want any lashings though.

Or if you're wary of using the boolprop cheats, you can get a variety of mods from Black Spirit at MTS2 that do the following:

- Increases the chance for the gypsy lady to drop off the genie lamp
- Better wishes from the genie lamp
- Buyable genie lamp

I use the Better Wishes and Buyable Genie Lamp mods. Although I could easily force the gypsy lady to drop one off, I rather have my family work hard to have and use those genie lamps. Tongue

Now, Jenna, that's my whip you're stealing! That explains why I couldn't find it.

Are you positive that it was my whip you found laying about? Tongue
