I need some help on the installing of freetime!

I'm trying to reinstall free time, but evertime it gets to 34% this pops up:
"A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sound\Sfx1.package' from the media.
Would you like to cancel or retry?"
Retry doesn't do anything, it installed just fine a couple weeks ago.:?:

I've tried looking on google first but none of them had answers as to what i should do.
 
So i am asking here because you all are just so darn smart at this stuff!

This happened to me when I tried to reinstall my base game; one of my CDs had become defective due to over-use it seemed. Have you tried cleaning off the CD/DVD and trying to reinstall again? Sometimes a stray bit of dust can cause the most annoying problems.

...that's my lame-ass idea until someone else more knowledgeable can come along.
