I mean, yesterday I installed 3 stuff packs and then I put my Apartment life in(because I was playing it) and it said to put in the Mansion and Garden stuff instead?

Mansion & Garden is newer than Apartment Life, and it's treated as a Mini-EP by the game, so you have to use that disk to run the game. But I'm not sure what you mean about separate folders?
