Hi. I was wondering how to put a pic into a post so that viewers can take a gander at my work without going into the file. If you have trouble understanding what I men, I will try to explain: Directly to the left side of the name of the post, there is a space for a sample pic of what the post contains. I am having trouble figuring out how to put a photo in that spot. Please help.

well, it seems to be a bit hit and miss on that score!

You should just be able to upload (attach) a jpg file and it automatically display in the forum view. You need to upload the pic first then upload your creation

It doesn't work for me, either. I have to insert a link to a third party site, I think that is by design? I seem to remember reading that somewhere on the site instructions, but I am WAY too lazy to go looking.

you CAN attach image files but we ask that it's only one

It seems to work fine for some but not for others, we may need to pass this to Pescado to have a look at as he's a lot more technical than me!

Yes, that is by design. If you want to post pics, you will have to host them on a third party site like Photobucket or Tinypic.

I got un-lazy. It is stated as such in the rules thread. Makes sense, they take up a lot of room on a server's hard drives and other mass storage media.
