Hi,

I have downloaded all my custom content from sites like this and MTS2 and MATY  etc.. Recently I needed to ask a technical question about my Sims 2 game so I registered at the Exchange (EA site). I was wondering why so many almost all creators say "do not post this on the exchange"? The only reason I figure is if the creator wanted it on the exchange they would post it there themselves. But then that leads me to ask why don't more very talented creators want to post on the exchange?

Fairly new cc user just wondering........  Undecided

Because they have no scruples at all about 'stealing' work and calling it their own over at the exchange, or reupload it and give no credit for it.

Also, there are some who will steal free CC from Exchange, do some recolour or a pathetically supposed "rework" of meshes and then upload them to paysites.

So, Damsel13, if you plan to upload anything to Exchange, make sure you don't include any CC their creators are specifically asking not to.
